Ended up doing the #mlkday2022 dinner a day early... itās always heavily meaningful to watch the story of Martin Luther King, and his followers in the civil rights movement. Non-violence in the face of violence is the most courageous thing someone could do. His fearlessness is something thatās hard to grasp. A life is by no means an easy thing to sacrifice. And in the wake of all thatās gone on these last couple of years, I donāt see anything more important to remind myself of, than the history of civil rights and the horrible decades of struggle that had to go on for something that should be taken for granted, to be ensured for African Americans and all people.
