The Inspiration of Jack Pierce

Built like a Tank by Jack Pierce Via Flickr: A little while ago, I managed to pick up this 1972 Nikon F1. It's a really fun not-so-little camera. The Nikon F was Nikon's first 35mm SLR, and the namesake for the 'F' mount that Nikon SLR's still use today. It's built like a bloody tank, and I'm pretty sure after seeing how it fared when dropped on concrete, it'd last the apocalypse.

When I took this I was working a pretty shit job as a web designer for a small company, it was sucking up all my time and creative thinking. This was pretty much the only photo in that time.
