TAKES CARE OF IT??!
I need everyone to know that not only does Venom “take care of Eddie”, Eddie is legitimately sexually aroused by Venom itself.
I know it's a coincidence but I noticed that in both the main MCU timeline and What if, when Loki dies (like, really dies), everyone's screwed.
He dies - the same day the entire world gets dusted.
He dies - the same day Hank Pym brings a zombie virus that infects everyone on earth and beyond.
Like, I love the idea of him either having perfect timing, dying right before the worst smoke, or the universe crumbling because its god of stories died, or, even more narratively fitting, Loki dying being an omen of the avengers losing (reminder that in the comics his existence matters to the avengers as a team).
Honestly if you live in the mcu and you see Loki dying - write your will, I guess.
You remember how Clint explained mind stone's influence as a presence of a "different you"? Like, it's still you, it "touches everyone differently", because it's personalized. But it's a twisted version of you.
A twisted version of Clint, cold and only caring about the mission. His own pragmatism, the thing that has made him a good agent, being exaggerated to the point of cruelty.
A twisted version of Selvig, fascinated by the knowledge working on Loki/with tesseract can give him, his scientific curiosity exaggerated to the point of obsession, when he doesn't care about the cost of all of it.
A twisted version of Loki, barely walking and knowing nothing but the fact that his world betrayed him (they did), that everything hurts (Thanos made sure of it), and if only he could make them hurt just as much as he does. He can't be controlled the same way Selvig and Barton are, but, oh, does the scepter make him angry, the pain that already existed not being exaggerated, on the contrary, when he holds on the scepter its song is louder than pain. So he holds on it. And it twists his justified anger and hurt into vengeance. Because the abused is so easily turned into the abuser, especially when magic is involved.
The scepter took something about them that was their strength or something that was done to them and twisted it into their biggest crime.
SOMEBODY SEDATE ME I CABT STOP DRAWING LOKI FANART

This scene absolutely drives me nuts. Loki tURNS THE DAMN SCEPTRE AROUND WHEN HE’S ADVANCING ON STEVE.
Look at it, when Loki starts walking he’s got the business end pointed at Steve, not just a sharp object but the damn mIND stone, and this fucker. In the middle of his own theatrical effort to sow panic and make a big distraction and ideally get the Avengers to get their shit together and fight him. He tURNS THE SCEPTRE 180 DEGREES SO THAT HE CAN PUT THE BLUNT END ON STEVE’S NECK.
Loki could not have made it any more obvious that he wasn’t trying to cause actual harm during this fight. Not just ‘he was throwing the fight, maybe he wasn’t trying too hard’, no Loki was actively avoiding causing any actual injuries. And he frankly did not need to do that to accomplish his goals in this scene.
Because remember Steve isn’t the reason Loki surrenders. Loki wipes the fLOOR with Steve and then Tony shows up with Natasha and I think some like missile launcher level artillery. Loki could just as easily have killed Steve, made an even bigger scene and made it even clearer that he was a problem that needed to be stopped immediately. He wants the Avengers to fight him. He wants them to stop the invasion. Killing Steve would have been a pretty effective way to get the world to take him seriously as a threat.
But he doesn’t. Instead, we see Loki doing everything he can to get maximum drama out of minimum damage. And some people still have the audacity to say Loki’s just evil and likes to hurt people???

Hug him
Bartender: thanks for stopping that bar fight, spiderman. Can I get you a drink? It’s on the house
Peter: thank you, but I can’t
Bartender: why not
Peter:
Bartender:
Peter, trying not to give his age away: I’m pregnant
Bartender, shook: oh, congratulations, boy or girl?
Peter, now in full-on panic mode: it’s an uh, spider
I’m seeing stuff in the notes about “Miles would do this” and I just want to say: you’re absolutely right. All Spider-folks across all universes share one (1) singular brain cell and most of the time it’s Gwen’s.
As the current author of Spider-Gwen, I can attest that Gwen has not seen the brain cell in years.
I FOUND IT
I finally lay my eyes upon this glorious post myself
