"Tara, you of all Tressyms ought to know, that the food bowl is filled at regular intervals for your health. Lest we worry about your ability to fly," he responded, a slight huff to his tone, hand firmly placed upon his hip as he gestures to the sky, to indicate the time of day.
“I am an adult tressym. I can very well decide when I’ve had enough.” She paws the bowl again. “And I have not.” She flattens her ears in a stern look.
“Tara, please," Gale sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You realise that as an adult tressym—and a rather talented wizard—you are more than capable of conjuring a mage hand to fill your own bowl."
Despite his retort, a resigned smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. He crouched down and retrieved the fish he'd caught earlier, prepared specifically for her dinner, and placed it into the bowl. "But of course, I’m at your service," he added, knowing full well she had him wrapped around her paw.
