I started smoking in my early twenties and really just for one reason: to not feel awkward in a new social setting and especially to feel cool, like in this picture a few months ago in Madrid. Imagine, me feeling socially challenged is already strangely tragic, but the fact that a #sigarette would make me feel less uncomfortable or cooler..that’s just pathetic. Yet most the smokers I know have a similar story for when/how they started smoking. This is what a dish looks like at this jewel of a restaurant called @bogrestaurant in The Hague. I was truly impressed by their fabulous food, typical Scandi interior design and supersweet chefs & owner. A highlight in the city! (at Restaurant Bøg)

This is what a 26 year old signature dish by a 2 Michelin Star Chef looks like. To photograph it first and then get the chance to sit down and taste it was such a sincere privilege. This dish is called ‘Bresse Chicken’ and consists of ravioli, langoustine, wild mushroom and lobster sauce. Ridiculously epic! Chef Erik van Loo has been serving it since 1992 at @parkheuvel in Rotterdam. (at Restaurant Parkheuvel)

Yesterday at precisely 5:15PM spring started and with that the Nowruz celebrations have begun. Nowruz is better known as the Persian new year’s celebrations. Although spring has officially kicked off today, I have an opposite, though always thrilling message for you fine folks: Winter is Coming! On May 21st the @gameofthrones live concert experience (@gameofthroneslive) comes to Amsterdam, at the @ziggodome. As my stories always show during the seasons, I’m a big GOT fan and so I can’t wait to go see this. Scoop: @hemanederland opened a pop-up store in the heart of Amsterdam (Runstraat 25) where you can scoop yourself a #rainbowflag of #eastereggs. So I took this picture two weeks ago at this incredible restaurant called @dertienrdam for @iens_nl’s Insider platform. Some minor editing resulted in this playfulness of colors, which I liked a lot. Beautiful produce is truly easy to photograph. ❤️ (at Dertien)
