"Listen up, guys. Our informant confirmed that Bebop will be alone with minimal security at a café in Sugar Hill. According to the information, Rocksteady got into a fight with him, so our target will be on his own this time. The mission is simple, kill Bebop and get out without raising any suspicion."

Silence swallowed the room.

Honestly... I was expecting this. I can already picture someone telling me I'm nuts.

"Are you nuts, man?! Bebop's a fucking one-ton boar! Do you have any idea how hard he is to kill?"

"Very encouraging, Genghis. In fact, you should start giving morale lessons to the whole damn team. Actually, I wasn't even going to ask you to co-"

Before I could even finish speaking, Genghis hurled his axe at me. I should've seen that coming. I dodged it with ease.

"FUCK YOU!"

Genghis stormed off, probably muttering that he hoped I'd die on the mission. Fucking psychopath.

"Ahem, moving on. The plan is to take Bebop out quietly, which is why I'm only bringing two people with me. Goldfin?"

Goldfin stepped forward. Small, but deadly, and carrying a deep hatred for Superfly. I like that.

"At your orders, Ronin."

I don't regret training this fish myself. His speed and agility surpass those of many other mutants.

"Perfect. Now, Timothy?"

Timothy stepped forward. A few laughs could be heard.

"Damn, leader. You seriously want to bring the mutagen man?"

Timothy immediately turned toward the poor bastard who had said that. His arm, a mixture of human flesh and sticky mutagen, suddenly began to shift. The shape of his arm changed, and within seconds, it looked like it had developed a blade. The mutagen hardened, and without a hint of hesitation, he brought his arm close to the man's neck.

The mocking smile disappeared from the man's face, replaced by pure fear as he immediately raised his hands.

"Call me mutagen man again, and I swear I'll rip your guts out."

Silence filled the room again. The laughter froze and vanished instantly. Most of the people around them stepped away.

Timothy has guts. He'll be useful, no doubt.

"Wow, wow, wow, Timothy, calm the fuck down. At least save some energy for the mission, okay? I wouldn't mind at all if you did something like that to Bebop."

Timothy nodded, pulling his arm away from the man while never taking his eyes off him through his mask, which hid his disfigured, greenish face. Then he looked back at me.

"It'll be my pleasure, leader."

Hearing those words, I smiled. After so long... I smiled.

Looks like this will be the beginning of my master plan...

Anyone who stands in my way will suffer just as I did.

I don’t even think it was completely about Splinter wanting to show off the tank…it was the father son competition part of it too…he wanted him to be his dad. He wanted parent aged adult approval..

What of some of his first experience with tech was learning how the projector worked…an old TV…getting new channels…he saw how happy it made his dad so he kept going, and he was good at it, he enjoyed it..

“Mikey! I think he was about to say proud. Oh, it felt amazing, I’m gonna chase this feeling” HE ADMITS ITTTTTTT. This poor kid just needs someone to say they value him and see all that he doessss.

They only had each other after all, and the boys couldn't socialise like other children could - they either relied on one another, or snuck out and risked getting captured. That's why Splinter's emotional absence has a huge toll on them.

It shows many times throughout the series that Splinter wasn't picture-perfect, especially through Donnie's character, who needs positive feedback to actually believe he is doing something good or that he's valued.

But I also wanna point out the episode Down With The Sickness, when Leo catches it too. In his delirius, feverish moment where he knew Splinter will say yes to anything - he just wanted a hug. That stuck with me a lot ngl. Many times Splinter probably said no without fully hearing them on what they actually said.

In the 2012 series, it bothered me so much how Splinter was handled. They turtles most of the time called him sensei instead of dad. They had more of a master-student dynamic rather than a father-son. It left a distaste in my mouth how they didn't even eat normal food before the first episode, when Splinter could've scavange it for them without risking the boys to go out when they were younger. And while the 2012 Splinter took care of the turtles and loved them, again, he took on a sensei role instead of a father, and it always felt like he was glorified for this noble act.

They didn't glorify Splinter in ROTTMNT. He is a complicated character, and yes, he was neglectful. But he learned slowly but surely, and he was a parent rather than a sensei for the boys. He did what he could despite his circumstances, even though he could've done more. His acts are not glorified, nor justified because of his past, it's a simple reflect on his character - he was just a human who got his life fucked over, and still hugged 4 baby turtles to his chest in the rain and said "I'll do my best"

He wasn't meant for the parent role, and the boys had to parent him back a lot. What a dysfunctional family... yet, they loved each other still. Splinter still cares deeply for his boys, and he knows by the end of the series he should've done more.

The boys told him in the final - maybe he wasn't the best and didn't teach them everything, but he taught them the most important thing in the world: be there for each other.

God. I love complicated characters who weren't perfect and made mistakes but they're not cruel or evil for it, just human. Or mutant. Ugh. My heart. Dysfunctional family trope my beloved.

I could personally relate a lot to it. I had to parent a lot my own parents too about emotions, about autism (we're all autistic), about LGBTQ+ things, and generally how to handle frustration and anger without hurting others' feelings. They're not cruel or bad people for it - just people who were still learning. Yepp, they made mistakes, and forgiving that is not immediate. But they put effort into being better afterwards, and forgiveness can come then.

I have an OC (that I am yet to post), and would like to begin drawing her into screenshots, but I have no idea which brush and what width to use to make it look like she's not a pasted in Mary-Sue. -i can copy other ppls handwriting—the neater the handwriting, the easier it is

-i despise wearing shoes. especially with socks

-i eat chips/cheezits with chopsticks cause i dont like the stuff getting on my fingers

- i thought celine dion and adele were the same person for a long while. dk why probably just because i live under a rock

- i despise clothing tags, even if they aren't itchy. there's just something disgusting about them that makes my blood boil

- i never cry at sad stories or music. always wondered why simply listening to sad things, fictional or not fictional, made other people cry. i definitely did feel sad too but that never made me tear up

- I usually tap my fingers on something when I'm anxious

- Whenever I'm thinking about something and I have a pen, I usually spin the pen around a couple of times

- My handwriting apparently gets better when I write on a yellow pad so maybe that (journ genes still kicking omd)

BUT IM GIVING YOU A BUNCH TO WORK WITH half because I'm bored and half because this is the longest I've talked about myself and not hated it?

- I can wiggle just my right ear. The left hates moving apparently..

- I had a split uvula! (Was a cleft pallet, had it surgically fixed, still sad about it)

- I can bark pretty damn well... (Spent many school days trucking kids into thinking there was a cute dog in the hallway..)

- I have a Pelvic Tilt and Flared Ribs! This causes sore muscles more often BUT I have a sassy posture

- I was good at the recorder 🪈 (the only instrument I was decent at..)

- I collect can tabs. I don't really do anything with them... But I did make a few earrings!

- I crack my joints.. knuckles, wrists, shoulders, neck, back, hips, knees, ankles, toes. Snap crackle pop!

- I'm allergic to alcohol. It's like being hung over, but only 20-60min after a drink.

- briefly had a period where I folded paper doves. I still have the origami paper somewhere..

- I can't swim or ride a bike.. I'm not great at running either...

- I wear a silk neck ribbon on my belt loop because it's flowy and fun and a good fidget

- may have befriended some crows idk

- I clean when stressed or overwhelmed. Vacuuming and scrubb walls are both great "my head is too loud" activities.

- I have no issue touching dead creatures ( I collect bones) but I will double glove to deal with any kind of prickly plant. Thistle, raspberry, roses, some cucumber varieties..

- my most recent and most hilarious gay awakening is Lightning McQueen (I'm just owning it now)

- I have face blindness .. worse with celebrities it seems.

- I've kissed a fish. A walleye. (Another kid was scared of fish, I asked "if I kiss it will you touch it?" They said yes. I puckered up. The kid didn't touch the fish ...)

- sometimes I shift my shoulder blades like I'm flapping wings or souring. Sometimes I twitch my shoulders like cat ears.

- I sew. I cross stitch. I bead. I crochet (kinda). I paint. I like my old lady crafts

God I could go on and on it seems. Hopefully something on here was interesting enough to be thrown at a character..

My ears are pointy, and on top of that I'm almost two meters tall... so I'm basically a dark elf. XD

Before TMNT, my biggest interests were World War II and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.

I'm the kind of person who turns their life into a story with chapters. I also have a song for every important period of my life, every important person and friend, or major event. It's not necessarily a song they'd like or one that resembles them, but one that captures how that person or moment feels to me. For example, I associate the time I lived in Chile with songs by La Oreja de Van Gogh, while TMNT will always remind me of Wake Up in the Sky by Bruno Mars.

For some reason, balloons make me uncomfortable. It's not a phobia, but I'd honestly rather stay away from them... especially if they're about to pop.

Since I lived through important stages of my life in different countries, I ended up with a really weird accent.

I've also always had two very different sides to me. Sometimes I want to listen to classical music, dress like it's the 1920s, and speak like a gentleman. Other times, I want to blast hard rock until my ears ring, get a mohawk, and wear nothing but black (thanks Daxter)

I remember 70% of my dreams vividly, and I can also do all the weird things like controll my dreams, or have sleep paralysis within my dream and all that. It's weird but I like it.

I make annoying noises when I get comfortable around a person and I turn extremely clingy like a fucking cat. I actually become a cat emotionally when I love someone deeply.

I love shiny things. Whatever it is, if it's glittery and shiny I collect. I don't care. I'm like an obbsessed birb.
