When you travel to another city/country, where you know you won't be able to speak the locals language and you wanna use public transport:

You check in advance how to buy and use a ticket (it's all available online btw)

You travel there, and hope someone will explain to you in a ticket office

You use AI for answers (please no🫪)

You assume everything and hope for the best (also no omg😭)

You travel too much, you don't have time to check it out (bruh💀)

You never buy tickets (u like penalty fees that much???)

You travel for free at home (U sure it's free there too???)

Remaining time: 4 days 2 hours

For context: this came out in 2011 in Australia. Same-sex marriage would not be legalized until December 2017.

It was only legalized in 8 US states (the 8th only a few months before), and wouldn’t be legalized nation-wide until 2015.

It was only legal in TEN COUNTRIES in 2011. We wouldn’t hit 20 countries until 2017. (Australia was 23rd)

As of today (April 14, 2026), I believe only 38 countries have fully legalized same-sex marriage. Out of somewhere around 200 countries in the world. That’s only ~19% of countries.

This is still revolutionary.
