"So, you got plans tomorrow?" Raios asked as he sat down at the dining table for dinner.
Tamera looked up from eating, mouth open to accept a forkful of spaghetti only to tilt her head in confusion before eating it anyways.
"Look, I know you have your little..." Raios rolled his eyes and spun the fork in his hand with a vague motion, "situationship going on, but you do know tomorrow is Valentine's, right? You got a date or not? I need to know so I can plan for dinner."
Tamera gave an embarrassed squeak as she finished pulling a noodle into her mouth. From the looks of it, she'd completely forgotten. A part of him pitied the man, truly, but the guy was a grown man, and he'd picked this hell for himself, so Rios wasn't about to offer him much more than that. Tamera quickly swallowed the food in her mouth, barely having chewed it and nearly choking in the process.
"Hein?!" she asked, looking equal parts embarrassed and confused. Well, she had to know tomorrow was a day for couples, right? She probably just hadn't had a date on it yet.
"Are you or are you not going to be out for dinner tomorrow?" Raios ground out.
Tamera quickly stuffed her mouth again, making Raios more annoyed. She only ate properly when she wanted to avoid conversation, the brat.
"I'll mark that down for no," he growled, making that the final declaration.
"Um... Peut-être je peux-"
"If you go anywhere near that kitchen, I till cut up your vest and feed it to you. Don't you even dare."
Tamera visibly deflated and went back to picking at her food, trying to get more vegetables on her fork than noodles.
"Just go to the damn store like everyone else!"
