After beating up a dozen or so monsters at the bottom floor of Orbis Tower that was submerged in water, Tear had just finished collecting a few dozen items the local citizens of Orbis needed. A couple of fishes local to bottom floor of the tower, some shells from the elemental sentinels here and there. It took some time but it was good to stretch her legs every now and then.
And so, once she was finished she chose to take the fun route back up by using her grappling hook skill to shoot her up in the air.
"Up up and away~!"
As she quickly ascended the tower like a bullet train, she saw everything she passed by like a blur. The closer she got to the top of the tower that touched the clouds, she could see more of the world from below.
But what surprised her was during her trip to the top she noticed a familiar figure passing by her, who might've saw Tear as a pink blur passing by.
"Waitamin--" She put the breaks on the grappling hook as she looked below her. By now she has been tens of meters away from Wanda, but it wasn't as if she couldn't slowly descent using that same skill.
So gently down she goes and sure enough-- she noticed Wanda in Orbis tower.
"Ayo-- Wanda?" Tear spoke up, a bit surprised, but happy to see a familiar friend, albeit in a world the other may not be familiar with.
"What bring's you here in Mapleworld?" She said to Wanda, beaming a smile to the wind witch. "Don't tell me: You were trying new beverages that somehow turned into a teleportation potion, causing you to teleport across space and time to a place far beyond, unknown to all but those who live here...."
The magical girl Nova couldn't help but chuckle saying that. She was able to enter Wanda's world and back and thus it made sense the same could happen to Wanda. She decide to gently land next to the Wind Witch before speaking up once again.
"Just kiddin' 'bout all of that. Welcome to Mapleworld, Wanda! Are you going up too by any chance? I'm taking some items to some of the local in Orbis City that needed those before heading back to my hometown of Pantheon. Wanna tag along? I can help ya around this place as your own personal tour guide!"
It was been awhile that she did something like this; navigating through this immense tower, floor by floor, defeating monster while doing so. Using her wind magic and bow and arrows when battling them, it somewhat reminded her back when being a forest ranger years ago.
Despite the dangerous environment, there was a sense of nostalgia to her.
After finishing several floors, she arrived at one with open walls, which it honestly provided a nice view outside from this height. This should be a suitable break for the witch.
To her surprise, she heard a familiar voice from above, slowly descending the tower, revealing to be Tear.
"Haha, wonderful to see you again, Tear!" The wind witch lightly chuckled. "Well, teleportation spells are still a thing for us, even though I still have difficulties to cast it effectively without any assistance. And why I am in this tower, let us say, I felt going back to my past and joyful experiences."
Her smile grew more upon hearing the other's suggestion. "That sounds wonderful! I would love to learn about your world, especially visiting your hometown."
