You cough from the smoke building up in the room as you hear a witchlike cackle from within the flames. The girl you saw earlier seemed nice enough, but you’re kicking yourself for not knowing that a woman with all-black eyes would have stirred trouble sooner or later.

You’re sitting in the back of a ride-sharing driver’s car when you suddenly hear sirens, then see a few police cars speed past you in the oncoming lane. You don’t think much of it, but your driver eyes the police cars carefully; he knew exactly where the police were going. He was the one who turned their destination into a crime scene, but nobody would ever know.

You turn your head towards the demonic-looking creature in the middle of the town clearing as he approaches a toddler, then picks her up.  You get the urge to do something before what you think might happen could happen, but as you continue observing, the creature closes his eyes and whispers something in an unknown language. A magical sun icon appears on the toddler’s head, the child giggling from whatever the creature did. The creature then sets the toddler down, a wide smile on his face and tears in his eyes.

You notice a topless, hulking green figure on the other side of the lake washing his shirt. He double-takes as he sees a group of women passing by, the women giggling as they see him. Unable to help himself, he flexes his pecs and winks at them, causing at least one of the women to stop and stare for a while. Though the green figure exudes pure machismo and confidence, a part of him deeply hopes nobody knows what the tattoo on his back really means.

You look to one corner and see an unassuming, petite woman. When you look at the same corner again, she’s gone without a trace. A few minutes later, you hear the unmistakable sound of a revolver going off in the distance. You follow the sound and notice the same woman holding said revolver aiming at collapsed bodies that soon fade away. The woman looks at you with intense golden eyes, and her revolver disappears.

You smell a warm, sweet aroma from the town forum. As you follow the scent, you notice it wafting from a merchant stand manned by a strange-looking woman. She appears to be a tiefling, but she also has wings. If you’re well-versed in the Infernal, you’d be able to tell that she’s a succubus. Succubi don’t normally eat regular food the same way as mortals do, but judging by the size of the queue at the stand, you conclude that there wouldn’t have been so many people waiting to try her food if she couldn’t taste her own cooking. She averts her gaze towards men, but retains it with women.

You eye a suspicious figure nicking a valuable trinket from a lowly goblin merchant’s stand. He tries to make a break for it, but the goblin’s eyes glow white before a flash of light envelops the forum. When things become clear, the smell of burnt flesh wafts through the air as the suspicious figure collapses onto the ground, skin blackened from intense heat. The goblin then looks at you as her eyes return to their normal brown shade and reassures you that her prices are much too fair for any reasonable person to try to steal from her.

"Here. This will keep you a little warm." The lancer took off her jacket and draped it around Jane's shoulders. She felt bad for the other, she could clearly tell she was scared, fearing that she might be stuck forever.

At the same time, the two would eventually hear voices approaching them, it sounded like a group. As Fey would've hoped, it was her fellow guild members.

"Fey, we're here!" One of them told before splitting into two groups as the first one was staying in Jane's front side while another being at the other side of the wall, readying their tools.
