And after so many years, I can't really understand how I could ship SwanQueen...

Don't get me wrong

The idea of them is perfect

Their history, the shared son, sacrifices and the changes they brought about in each other, even Regina's side of their relationship

But Emma... She's just acting like a cartoonish cliché character. Her words/actions often contradict themselves and her very nature (not to mention she's far from the Emma we've seen in season 1)

Emma really pissed me off in season 2: claiming Henry as her son, erasing Regina's right to him and the ten years she literally spent raising the boy. Somehow forgetting the fact that she's given him up to 'give him the best chance at life' — exactly what Regina has given him.

Also she played shy and didn't want to admit she was the savior and claimed to be a leader in Neverland, but whenever real danger threatened she always turned to the others and asked: what do we do? Being neither capable nor intelligent enough to solve any of the occuring problems.

It's as if since she got her parents back, she's reverted to being a teenager. And lost all her individuality that she undoubtedly had in the first season — something one would expect a 28+ yo to have regardless of whether they've been an orphan or not.

She's also extremely selfish but doesn't miss a chance to remind people (especially Regina) of their faults.

One could say she's going through a crisis (and I remember some of it being explored in season 4 and her dealing with issues) but so does Regina, Rumple, Snow and many other characters who constantly have to redeem or reinvent themselves.

The thing is, she is the only one who makes such a big deal out of it.
