That has literally never been the case lol the earliest noted use of the term “egg” online included the definition of “a trans person who doesn’t realise that they’re trans yet” and every single definition since has been the same.

Like a lot of trans terms, exclusionary groups on tumblr have tried to rewrite history by claiming that these terms were only used by, for or against trans women (such as T4T or the t-slur) when any trans person over the age of thirty can tell you first hand that this is a lie. Re-writing trans history in order to erase trans men from it is not transfeminist and does not help trans women. It simply kills trans men.

It was flagged as "Eksplicit", shadowbanned, and every reblog turned invisible. The flagging is also unappealable (unless that is an error, thanks tumblr)

these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.

for those who arent aware, a very common piece of pokemon trivia regarding umbreon that often floats around (at least in my circles... i may be having a scientists overestimating knowledge of their field moment) is that umbreon was initially meant to be a poison type. umbreon is, very explicitly, the first dark type pokemon, and as such doesnt generally fit the design scheme used for a lot of later dark types!

while yes, umbreon is popular due to being ''cool'' it is, objectively, an outlier in its design compared to most other dark types. because it wasnt designed as a dark type.

i dont know how to phrase it exactly but i think theres something very transgender about that. made to be one thing but ended up being another; and people still loving it regardless.

and please note this isnt me just saying all this out of favoritism because my favourite eeveelution personally is jolteon! and while yes sylveon very much Is just trans colours, umbreon feels more like me, i guess?

it was designed one way, but ended up taking a whole new unseen path with what it was instead. and idk i think thats something that should be acknowledged more when talking abt the eeveelutions from that perspective of transness
