we pushed so hard against legitimate toxic masculinity that we ended up destroying innocent men in the process, who probably don’t feel like they can trust or open up to others about legit trauma without automatically being assumed as the aggressor

if you’re a victim of abuse, no matter what gender, you deserve a voice and you deserve justice. i’m sorry you haven’t gotten it yet

so, i’m really not feeling it blog wise atm. This summer I’ve been picking up animation and maybe some storyboard practice for an animation course this fall, so I’ve been updating my youtube a bit more as of late. Maybe finally do an MAP part, we’ll see!

as well as researching and reworking my comic’s plot and characters and eventually a script rewrite, that’s taking a big chunk of time

i got a small pokeask thing planned, so I won’t vanish entirely just yet. I’ll signal boost it when its done. 

Everything after the postcards is symbolic. It’s like a post-movie credits segment, hence the style change. If you’re talking about the part where she’s falling into water, it symbolize her drowning in feelings of despair and turmoil.

As for finding Regina? Well.

It actually doesn’t matter! Did she find her friend? Did Regina forgive her or not? Maybe Regina actually did die when she was thrown into the river in their last confrontation.

What’s most important is that Asami has moved past being manipulative, and is moving towards forgiving herself and accepting the consequences of what she’s done. That’s what’s most important. If you can forgive yourself and you can move on and improve, that’s victory. If people choose not to see that, their loss.

You’re welcome to imagine what happens next however you want. Because what matters most is that these two are progressing, and finding happiness despite everything. At this point, what Regina thinks is irrelevant. That’s why I chose not to show it.
