Writing for The Moth Crown is still going strong and Aveline finally has an actual personality and goals and whatnot ✨️

Anyway, the answers to you questions:

Aveline is a freelance fortune teller (all women in this world have the potential to tell the future, with varying ability levels; I won't go into it here since I have a LOT of other questions to answer but I don't have any reason not to share if y'all wanna know more) and she runs her business from a back room of her cousin's mansion, where she also lives.

She is 22 years old, making her the second youngest of the main cast.

Due to her flexible schedule, Aveline usually wakes up (and goes to bed) later than most people, so she usually has a moderately large meal when she wakes up that serves as both breakfast and lunch, although it's usually traditionally breakfast food. She usually cooks for herself due to her unusual schedule and her preference toward independence. She actually does enjoy experimenting with her cooking every once and a while, though in terms of actual skill, she's pretty average.

Aveline has good hygiene. She LOVES long hot baths and always makes sure to brush her teeth and hair and consistently shave. She finds these activities calming.

She doesn't have any real pets, but her cousin's father has a pair of hunting dogs (English Pointers) that often stay with her and her cousin (Gerandin) when it's not hunting season. They absolutely love Aveline but will not listen to Gerandin.

It's not an overly large town, so she mostly walks (I also don't have a solid idea of what kind of technology they have so I will be thinking more on trasportation and communication and how magic can tie into it).

I also don't know the system of currency used in this world (I'll figure it out later...) but I will say since Aveline works on commission her income is not very steady and since she doesn't have much of a reputation, she doesn't get enough clients to generate a livable income. She relies largely on her cousin's wealth, something she feels very guilty about.

Overall just getting up in the morning is a hassle (she is NOT a morning person), but besides that she absolutely hates folding and putting away laundry and finds dinnertime slightly uncomfortable as Gerandin insists on thanking the gods before every meal and Aveline doesn't really believe in them (at the start of the story at least; by the end, she's not given much choice but to believe). Additionally, her cousin's wealth leads to a large number of invitations for both of them, but she finds these high-society parties and private lunches boring and fake, often finding excuses to avoid them (which the hosts are never heartbroken over; Aveline is a little too prone to speaking her mind).

Aveline can be forgetful at times, mostly when it comes to dates and names.

Aveline may not be a socialite, but she does go out to the town every weekend, either just to get out of the house or to spend time with some of her friends. Most of them live a little too far away to be convenient, though, and she's often too busy with her own life to visit (and her friends aren't the kind of people that would spend their time in the richer parts of town.) She can only stand being stuck in her house so much. She gets restless easily, but at the time the story starts she's trying hard to settle her life into something solid.

These questions definitely helped flesh out Aveline more, or just add a few details to her character (like the fact that she likes cooking and her cousin has dogs). Plus, it's a good opportunity to yap about her.
