I’ve always loved angular post-punk with brash vocals. The Futureheads, early Bloc Party, Art Brut, and any number of Australian bands (think Low Life combined with Wireheads...or a less punky Helta Skelta). Mikey Young mastered this which probably helps explain why I thought of Australia.
Deleter are not a UK or Aussie band though. They are from Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is only one song from “Meaningless Chants” currently up on Bandcamp, and earlier releases don’t have the same driving catchiness of “Start To Watch”. Perhaps one of their closer American comparisons might be Protomartyr.
