Btw my heart problem is a bitmore stable now, i can sit,drink,eat and sleep with out being shaked so bad. Now it is in the background, feels really good to have a kinda normal sleep now. However my chest still really hurts a lot, and i;m still very our of breath tho it is a bit better. Also added the art below aswell cus i can xD Oh damn i forgot the frog thingies i now realize oh well XD

The Turtles and Miyamoto Usagi cross paths again, but this time with much more serious consequences, as Dr. Wherewhen is intent on changing history.

It is a common trope that crossovers between two properties, more often than not, have no consequences in either of the parts involved.

There are of course, some exceptions, and many of them involve the Ninja Turtles. However, this is one odd example of the crossover affecting Usagi Yojimbo. With a big asterisk to it.

It is not too clear to the casual reader, but the story takes place in the future of the Usagi Yojimbo timeline, before the events of Senso. And since Senso is not necessarily canon, you could extend that to this story as well. In fact, it's even harder to place this story in the turtles' timeline.

We know these are the same turtles from the previous IDW crossover. But the way the turtles act, makes me think that they are from their own universe. Another spin-off universe of the IDW comics.

Having said all that, this helps Sakai to tell a story with stakes. And even a few of his characters bite the dust.

And the turtles and Usagi hadn't have enough time to share adventures since the early 90s (in one of the Usagi comics that was published by Mirage). This gives this mini-series a feeling that it belongs with the rest of the Usagi sagas.

Having said that... it comes with one problem. The casual TMNT reader that tries this book will feel completely overwhelmed by the extended cast and the visual similarities between Miyamoto, Jotaro and Yukichi. I don't think this is the kind of story that brings new readers into the Usagi comics (then again, the relationship between these characters was very well described, so perhaps some readers will feel a connection to them).
