I feel like I'm the only one that really enjoyed the ending?

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Like...yall. If you enjoyed this season please hmu because I really don't want to be alone in this. EVERYONE IS FREAKING OVER THE ENDING, WHEN THERE WERE SO MANY GOOD THINGS.

I mean, I kinda skipped through the episodes to finish them before school, but I thought it was such a good season. Well, not the best [cough cough season 3 was the best cough], but as a salty klance shipper, I accept it!

The only way to really get past the hate is to forget about the ships. Don't see it defined by it's lgbt rep. See it as a kid's show that are filled with amazing characters!

But if you were to see it as for its ships...nothing was endgame! [Well, besides Shiro and that one guy, but hell, while y'all are complaining, we literally got a m|m kiss on screen. But of course people salty cus you don't know who it is.]

Lance could grow to love Keith or Pidge

Hunk possibly started a life with Shay

Lance could live out the rest of his life loving Allura,

It's all up to you, and I think that's what they intended.

Yes, the creators and cast had lied A LOT about things, and that a pretty low ass move, but just forget about them.

I'll name some things I really liked about this season

- The Sunset Scene [ft. Lance and Keith]

-HAGGAR'S STORY. LIKE JFC.

-How bad Haggar wanted to be a family, like, that made me tear up

-Lance

- SHIRO GOT MARRIED TO A MAN AND THERE WAS A REAL M|M KISS ON SCREEN.

-Pidge using her earthy telepathic powers

-OUR FAVORITE LESBIAN ALIENS ARE ALIVE

-Lance

-No Keith centered episodes

-LANCE LITTERALLY GOT FUCKING ALTEAN MARKINGS AND YOU ALL ARE SLEEPING ON THAT. LIKE, REALLY??

-No real endgames

-Lance

- The shopping trip [most importantly Veronica and Pidge]

-Lance's family [Btw where the hell is Abuelita]

-I actually really loved the ending scenes under Allura's statue.

- someone died [Shiro died in the original, so I had a feeling someone was gonna die, whether it be Shiro, or someone else]

-PIDGE WATCHING THE OLD VERSION OF VOLTRON, AND HER DRESSING UP AND ACTING LIKE THE OLD PIDGE.

Lance: I can never start my day without my early morning victory royale. 

Keith: I don’t know numbers, I’m dyslexic. 

Pidge: I have never consumed. 

Hunk: Shut.............YOUR MOUTH-

Shiro: Sorry I’m late, I dead-ass just didn’t want to come. 

Allura: How many Linda Ronstadt posters did you have as a teen?...

Please stop spreading hate towards other fans of the show, and towards the actual creators of the show. Our lovely people do not need death threats. If it was not for them, we would not have these new characters that we adore so much. So how about you lay off, yeah?

In my opinion, I watch the show for its story, for the characters, and for the beautiful animation and voices and everything the crew has given us. Why is it so hard to just shut up and watch the damn show? I know some characters haven’t gotten their spotlight yet, I mean, yeah. I’m a bit salty about Lance too. He deserves better character treatment. But hopefully S7 will fuel that positivity towards him and other characters.

We need to bring positivity in our fandom again. Not on ships; as much as I love Klance, it’s not about Klance. It’s not about Sheith. It’s not about Punk, or Shance, or Allurance, or Kallura, or ANY OF THOSE. The endgame romance will become endgame in time, and it’s WHAT THE SHOWRUNNERS HAVE DECIDED LONG AGO. And whatever we get, it’s what we get. It’s how a show works. We don’t always get the show how we want it.
