Well, it’s not 1:1, but. Both times Acxa(’s team) incapacitates somebody driven to the brink by singular focus. Both times trust is breached. Both times revenge, or avengeance, is sought. Both times Narti is the cautionary tale at the front of everybody’s mind.
A detail about Coran:
Or, rather, a detail about *Voltron*, the show, that caught my eye. This scene is not a one-off, even if it's my example: it illustrates the grey(ish) morality by which the (heroic) characters operate. Coran does not care that Acxa is throwing herself through death’s door, because the risk to a stranger's life does not outweigh the safety of his friends. Other examples of this are the trade of Lotor for Sam Holt, Keith suggesting they leave Allura behind when she is captured and Keith suggesting they shoot at Allura and Lotor when they return from the quintessence field. It's why Lance looks so surprised/dismayed when Keith -- in this episode -- defers command to him and splits off to rescue Acxa. Because that's not what they *do*.
Allura only figuring that Lotor is Altean midway through s5 basically confirms that he passes for Galra in-universe.

Wait so when Lotor gave Honerva that grand speech about how 'the end is near'. Did he mean that Acxa would kill her. Or something.
He's so funny for this because. Yes dude! **Your** end! Is near!
(Side-note. Honerva did know it was coming. So Lotor was ~technically~ correct.)
I think that Lotor knows, deep down, that Haggar and Honerva are physically one. His Madonna-Whore complex (and his internalised racism) impedes him from seeing either facet as human: Haggar is a heartless 'witch' and manipulative puppeteer, Honerva is the bastion of noble, Altean beauty.
Interestingly enough, Honerva appears to view herself similarly:
As if she is innocent of Haggar's doings. As if she doesn't repeatedly don the persona of Haggar to get her way. However she identifies, the Hwoman can only view herself through whichever lens Zarkon or Lotor ascribe to her. Thus, she strips herself of her autonomy (this is simulteanously a trauma response to Zarkon's abuse & a facet of her abuse of Lotor).
Like, knowing Lotor was her son, she called him a slur in front of his combatants and his Altean heritage 'quell'ing of his claim.
Anyway. Honerva can only be a memory to Lotor, or else his illusion of Altea is destroyed.
