I don't even listen to waterparks but I followed this blog because I'm obsessed with the dedication you have to finding the exact articles of clothing this man wears. I think you're insane but also you're one of the only waterparks blogs I respect because I love when people are insane
This is such a sweet thing to wake up to, thank you!!! I figured it was positive but I appreciate the clarification :) When I joined this fandom I was surprised there wasn't an archive for him already and I wanted to know what he was wearing and figured, I may as well take this on!
It is definitely time consuming (his platform boots took me 5 days!!) so I understand why nobody else was running one. I joke to myself that I clock out of my day job just to clock into the lookbook for the next 8 hours lol. It is incredibly rewarding when I do find a piece though :) It's like a game for me now. It also I think helps me understand his vision more as an artist, since his clothes I feel tend to reflect the vibe of the era. Greatest Hits era is a lot of button ups, pearl necklaces & "smarter" clothes (for lack of a better term) while Intellectual Property is a looot of baggy streetwear/devil-may-care kinds of clothes for example.
I would recommend of course listening to Waterparks if you can, I got into their music via their album Greatest Hits which I listen to constantly, and then their newest album Intellectual Property had me falling down the rabbit hole lol. Fandom is also a gorgeous gorgeous album. Their first two albums Double Dare and Entertainment definitely took some time for me to get into lol but they have some bangers!
