My plans for the holy week
Lets dive right in!
My family on my grandmother's side just invited me out for the holiday. This is very rare for me, not just the fact that my anti-social family just decided to go on an outing, or the fact that I just got invited to it, or the fact that i'm actually going, but the fact that I decided to go with them :DD. For the first time in my life I am in a position to be able to accept an outing invitation stress free without worrying about the people i'm leaving home.
Since This is such a rare opportunity I decided to make the most of it, and to do this I need a plan. Most of my week is going to be spent in Vigan City, a very esteemed and popular location for tourist. I'm looking forward to being able to visit the attractions but to be honest the thing I look forward to the most would be the food.
My plan to spend the vacation as best as I can is this: 1. Visit Calle Crisologo -This is the most popular tourist spot in Vigan AND RIGHTFULLY SO! the old fashioned design of the spanish era and the opportunity to ride a Callesa. Just the kind of atmosphere to start my vacation, making my mind realize that for the first time in a long time I am free from the shackles of homely responsibilities 2. A trip in history, The Philippine National Museum -I've always been an admirer of history, too bad the spaniards took all of ours away HAHA! BUT EVEN SO our history with them has been a part of history that could never be erased and the beauty in seeing whats left of our history and the dirty history left by them is, in my opinion, it's own kind of beautiful, the yin and yang of our past. 3. Swimming in Mindoro beach - The last day of my vacation should be celebrated in a recreational way, enough about the philosophy its time to sooth my body. The mindoro beach, a beautiful natural heritage located in vigan, The PERFECT place to end my vacation, putting my body at rest along with the memory of this beautiful vacation brought to me by the holy week. Hopefully all goes as planned XD. May everyone have a great Holy Week!
