VACATION UPDATE!
Back home and back to my cat :DD. What a great vacation! as the saying goes "things go a little bit better when you plan it". Everything went exactly as I planned the trip to go. First we had to take a 10 hour trip to get there. The trip was so long, spending 10 hours in a car with my family members and some food. Every now and then having to stop the car to give me a chance to bless some nature with some rain. Made sure to empty the back room before we went. Didn't want to bless nature with fertilizer. Even after those 10 agonizing hours let me tell you, it was worth it. The heat of the summer revealed the beauty of the flatlands. The road was beautiful, lined with old spanish buildings and carrousels. Big warning for anyone visiting there's a lot of scammers. Aside from that the nice view and experience was beautiful and most definitely worth it.
Once we arrived we didn't waste any time. We immediately rode a carrousel owned by my uncle, it went around 2 blocks and described the buildings to us. after that we went to get some food. The empanadas were ABSOLUTELY terrific, the fish was fresh as can be and the coke -- well it was coke on a hot summer day ofcourse it was good. After that we went to the museum . Absolutely amazing, the animals looked like they were still alive and I couldn't believe the size of them. I think this was to most worth while experience, reason being that any other museum in my local area would never compare to this, to me this memory would serve as a standard when visiting other museums. Lastly, the beach. Words wouldn't be enough to describe it, the clear waters, the soft sand, and the tranquility was so refreshing. Yes it was my first time seeing white sand.
alas the end comes for everything, and my vacation is not an exception. Vacation's over and we're heading home, good bye steamy, meaty, creamy, delicious empanadas. Hello cool breeze, pine trees, and my mom's cooking.
