Thinking about how there's mist that comes off the canals at night ...
Do the cobblestones get extra slippery?
Are there local folktales about stuff that lives in the night mists?
Do people with houses on the canals have slightly tilted sidewalks, so that any moisture gathering on them runs back into the canals?
How high do the mists get?
Is it high enough for a kid to be blind in but for an adult to walk through easily?
Is it heavy mist or light mist?
If it's heavy mist, does the city have painted lines on the edges of the canals, to make them more visible at night?
Do they have a textured strip at the edge, like a row of slightly raised cobblestones?
Are people falling into the canals at night a common occurrence?
How deep are the canals?
Since the layout is informed by magic, does spending too much time in one make you sick?
Like your body's natural magic gets scrambled because it was immersed in a magic conduit for so long?
What kind of remedies have people come up with for that?
Did Lucio ever spend a whole night in a canal trying to learn magic?
How fast/strong are the canal currents?
Does stuff fall in and when it does, does it get pulled out?
Does it just get left there?
Are there hundreds of carts just ... Lying at the bottom of the canals???
Is there a warning fairy tale about the canals at night that parents tell their small kids to keep them away from falling in?
Has anyone ever tried to hijack the canals, like dropping tons of a substance in it to mess with the water (like the plague beetle pollution in the aqueducts ...)?
Do they have canal locks in place to raise/lower water levels?
If there are gondolas for hire, like a taxi, are there gondola buses?
Do the gondola buses just cross back and forth between specific points, or do they have whole routes?
How much is the fare?
Are there mail gondolas?
Do half the mailmen steer gondolas to conduct their route?
Like one of them handles the gondola, the other one hops on and off to deliver packages?
If Nadia institutes a newspaper, while that be delivered via gondola?
If there are gondolas, are there houseboats?
Or floating stalls?
Like a food truck, but a gondola with a tiny kitchen set up on it that floats up and down the canal selling lunches?
What happens if food or coins get dropped in the canal?
Do people build their own little boats to go exploring around the town with?
Like instead of gifting your kid a bike, you gift them a little boat?
Are there tiny docks to moor the boats at, in lieu of bike racks?
Is that where kids meet up every day?
Instead of "meet me at the corner store after school", it's " meet me at the dock with the pink post"?
Do parents have conflicting opinions on when children are mature enough to handle the independence of a boat?
Do they have to give their little siblings rides to school in them?
Is there canal rush hour?
If there are carriages in Vesuvia, is there a carriage that turns into a boat?

Idk how much traction this will get since this fandom is pretty much dead, but its still worth a try since im thinking about making a video about this game
They are Ensom. They created The Floating Stones in the Land of Ensom. I've extend Vesuvia's world, from The Arcana Game in my fanfic. Between Uendelig (The Endless Desert) and Agartha, The Magical City; The Floating Stones are Ensom's home. They are Fool's friend since the Begining.
I'm gonna sound crazy but vesuvia always reminds me of delhi. A small insignificant suddenly rising to the seat of power. Being routinely destroyed, conquered and rebuilt...so interesting.
