it’s weird playing undertale yellow for the first time and thinking ceroba was easily the best character because she was by far the most fleshed out, then going online and seeing that she’s apparently super divisive because either A) she apparently takes over the story at the end (which is interesting cuz that was around the time where i got most invested) or B) she… makes decisions that people don’t agree with. huh.

i dont know if this is fandom consensus or not but i do believe edwardine killed the fuck out of enoch. she killed that old man. who else gave more to the scarlets than edwardine. her brothers dead. her lover murdered at her own hand (possibly at enoch’s call?). her illegitimate son of that dead lover given to the THING IN THE WALLS. “mommy i am in here too i love you”? and then alexandra as well? is it any fucking wonder enoch had that accident the day alexandra went missing. and then the only child she has left dies in childbirth at, what, 17? edwardine, jesus christ. a life characterized by loss after loss after loss. and you only have to question how much was her and how much was enoch and if the distinction even fucking matters after a point. we don’t know. we’ll probably never know. but once upon a time edwardine was a little girl under a table longing to escape, and she never did.
