The story for Noctilucent was far darker than I expected. Im so sad that more people didnt give the game a chance, because the story really is up there with Nu:Carnival.

Theres a lot of story lines that all come together. This screenshot is from the main story, with the story line of Cypar and the royals and his investigation on them trafficking humans, that then tied in with Heigl and his journalism into the royals and the lab research, which then tied in with the actual lab research which was a whole can of worms.

Going into the game expecting a lighthearted BL and being fully immersed into a rich story with really well written characters was amazing.

The game is still playable, because its obvious the team really loves it. So much effort, passion and love went into the game and it really shows, and even though they couldnt keep making the game, because of lack of funds and players, they still use their money to upkeep the game, keep it alive, keep the events going.

At times like these Im so upset Im not filthy rich. I wish I could at least fund merch and new art of the characters, that I love so dearly. Ill keep posting and talking about the game and hopefully more and more people learn about it and play it.

I will keep being positive and hope that something happens, a bunch of people learn about the game, start playing it, asking for merch, the company gets funded with merch and they are able to restore the game to fully active again and continue the story.
