Hear me out!
Vector has always been a Prime close to the concept of time and alternative realities. The problem is balancing that concept to the film settings, to avoid creating narrative holes in the story.
So his power in the TFO Universe could be the ability to see the past, the present and the future of every transformer timeline and alternative universe, except for his own.
It could be difficult for him to remember past events in his own universe as he begins confusing and mixing memories from different timelines.
"There's almost always a traitor between the Primes! But who could it be?"
And he definitely makes meta jokes nobody else can understand, like, for example:
*Megatronus training with the High Guard and Starscream somehow manages to corner the Prime with strategy or something* Vector, with a screeching voice: -Lord Megatronus has fallen! It is him, Starscream, the legitimate leader of the High Guard!-

Vector Prime has a bad habit of tossing Safeguard (like actually in Cybertron sometimes when Vector Prime transforms, Safeguard gets yeeted and does not come back)
