To me the center of the Vaelus/Thaisha/Julien dynamic is just that one scene from episode 4 where Julien and Vaelus are both trying to be the one to take the brave last stand while Thaisha yells 'I said FUCKING RUN!! 😡' from the bridge.

Now with the beautiful sequel from EP 18 of Thaisha saying 'You both died a little" and Vaelus and Julien both answering 'I was fine'.

Julien and Vaelus: (trying to elbow each other out of the way) It's my duty to die to protect the party.
