I love 1 (one) dashing sky pirate.

This has to be my favorite scene starring Don Karnage, and probably the one that made him my first cartoon crush back when I was a wee one haha.

Nearly missed the deadline for @5summersofstancest prompt “The Lost Years”. Thank you Stancest Discord for reminding me.

I honestly hate this. Don’t look. Please don’t percieve >_<;; I was so stumped on The Lost Years, not because the prompt is bad, but because I had so many vague ideas and took way too long to pick one. I ended up with this but I HATE how minimal is looks.

The idea was that the dark shadows at the backs are meant to sort of emphasis how they should’ve been standing together but aren’t. A missing piece. The idea sounded good on paper but in actuality, I wonder if it looks lazy.

I had a few other ideas. The young stans getting dragged away from each other by their 30s selves. An unravelling film reel that gets snipped in the middle. I wonder if they would’ve been better.

I might do the film reel one someday. I like that idea.
