Mama, I'm comin' home

I really hate to be doing this but I'm kind of panicking and I don't know what else to do right now. My cat Bram has a severely loose tooth that needs to be extracted. It's gotten to the point where it's impacting his ability to eat and his overall comfort. He has a scheduled procedure on Wednesday June 17, and the total cost will be $750. I can afford to cover $400 myself (and I've already put down a 50$ surgical hold) but that leaves me with $350 left that I can't currently account for. I've been in contact with a couple organizations that might be able to help cover vet costs but I haven't heard back from them and knowing that there are only a couple days until his appointment, I don't feel safe just waiting for something that might not come. I'm a queer, mentally ill freelance artist and already struggling financially. My vet doesn't take care credit or do payment plans so if I can't cover the full cost then I have to cancel the appointment, lose my deposit and let my cat continue to suffer until I can save up the rest.

I'm really sorry to even ask, because I know everything sucks right now but I feel like I'm up against a wall, so if anyone is able to spare anything at all I'd be extremely grateful.

Not exactly, but his attitude toward it has. Fixers contracts rarely come with clear-cut boundaries. You can either make a mess of things or handle them quietly. Veilyr has never been the type to draw attention to himself.
