#us time

It’s been a terrible week, they’ve almost started a war between heaven&hell for the ineffable bureaucracy, but all that Crowley wants is “a little us time” (and alcohol, obviously).

In that moment, he believes that everything it’s gonna be better, that they can just be "an us", that the nightingales are singing just for them.

While is talking to Muriel, Crowley believes for the last time that their love can just.. be.

After they had figuered out a rudimental plan, always tiptoeing around (because they don't talk to each other, not about what really must be said), the dam bursts. Crowley can't stand it any longer.

He pushes Aziraphale against the wall of the now closed bookshop, trying to finally talk some sense into him!

Aziraphale was on the edge too. It was hard to be back after all this time. He was always acting like in charge as the Supreme archangel he was, always on duty, looking over his shoulder, always weary to not make a false move; always watched.

He had missed the smell of his book shop, the taste of some vintage wine, music (no beebop) and the company of the one beeing, that he had left so cruel behind; always thinking about that last kiss, the taste of this lips, the hurt in Crowley eyes and all the feelings, he still tries to surpress.

When he feels the heat of Crowley body flush against his, his breath on his face... it is too much, something snappes. He tilts forward, finally, FINALLY able to act on his feelings, kissing this wonderful, wily, brilliant and so much loved demon, that he had missed so much.

Crowley is petrified, because of this unexpected turn of events; expecting the angel to back up and run away any moment. He won't let that happen AGAIN! He grabbes him by his collars and goes into a feverish kiss, full of so many emotions, so many things unsaid, so many apologies.

After an uncertain amount of time, they seperate; mere centimeters. Crowley still cluthes the collars, still afraid. But Aziraphale is smiling at him; breathless and with so much love in his eyes. That smoothes the fear in Crowleys heart.

Eventually he guides Aziraphale to the staircase, still clutching his hand while they go upstairs. He leads him to his rather-used bedroom. Finally letting go of his hand, to sit down on the bed. Hoping, trusting, that Aziraphale will not run away this time, looking with longing and so much love at Aziraphale, who closes the door.

Sometimes, you just gotta randomly run away for the weekend ❤️

Definitely got some good us time that we desperately needed, nothing beats a good weekend of reconnecting.
