Screenshot time! Here's all the shots I took in Chapter 5 of Double Exposure.
This whole scene I really loved, where every time you go through the door, everything gets more grey and grey until it's just monotone. My interpretation is that it represents Max's declining mental state after the breakup with Chloe, and the fact Chloe's tools are in the room too is a fairly major indicator of this being the case.
I mean, I had to, come on. It's one of the most famous likes from the first game.
This damn near made me cry, eyes were watery and everything. Just knowing that I was able to save Kate in the first game and having it be recognised here, while Max is going through a really tough time, is beautiful.
This. Chloe is what kept me (and probably Max too) motivated throughout a lot of this game, and this was more than I could've asked for. I had no idea this was in the game, as I've never seen anyone speak about it before.
This too. As I said in my first post-DE-post, this is amazing and a pretty clear sign that Reunion was more than likely planned once they wrapped up DE. (Also the fact Max says she's ready to stop hiding from Chloe, and will talk to her.)
I really enjoyed my time with Double Exposure, despite what everyone says about it, and I have more faith than ever that I'll enjoy Reunion.
