Ok although I'm aware that a lot of familiar characters showing up was probably fanservice, I actually did really like seeing Mags. I loved how kind she was with the tributes, yet it was clear how knowledgeable she was. I also love the connection it establishes between Haymitch and district 4 (which I would like to write about sometime).

I wish we got to see Mags more after the Games. My main complaint was just that we didn't get a lot from her and I would've liked to see that relationship develop more. Like I'm sitting here right now, two days after finishing the book, trying to recall what impact Mags had on the plot and I'm blanking lol. So I would have liked to see more definitive character traits from her rather than like "oh look here's this name you know".

B. Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

🤔 I don’t think any of my stories are based on personal experience. Cafe Jupiter is kind of based on a coffee shop I’ve frequent a lot in college. Reyna’s snark or Percy’s sassiness is kind of based off of my own. Reyna and I share a lot of traits.

G. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I tend to write structure out first like scenes I really really want for sure and then write them in order. But there are times when I would be randomly start some dialogue and try to fit it into a fic. It’s all scattered. That’s what I love about writing. There’s no wrong way to do it.

I. Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

I’m a sucker for best-friends-to-lovers trope. It’s such a slow burn and it’s so good. And a good soulmate fic just hits the feels. I wished I was better at writing prose. My writing is a bit like watching a movie unfold but writers who can do beautiful prose with similes and metaphors within character thoughts are amazing. 

K. What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

I was gonna do a 5 times Jason didn’t say ‘I’m sorry’ and the one time he did. It was gonna be revolving around how his relationship with Reyna fell apart. I had a scene for Skippy’s death and then various deaths of Roman campers like a few of their close friends. The idea is there but draft has a big ‘THIS IS TOO ANGST DON’T WRITE’ note at the very end.

V.  If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

I adore the many universes you spin, @astronai, and would love to plan in those sandboxes. Not really sequels or prequels, but like side fics for your popstar!Leo and Piper AU or branches. I would love to play in @chocmarss Rumors fic or her Marvel!AU since they are so unique. What I would love to see more is Hogwarts!AU fics from anyone since it’s a big part of our pop culture.

Is there any particularly naughty thing that he would especially like to do? What's stopping him? Why hasn't he already?

A small nervous chuckle escaped the man's lips, trying to think on how to go about this question, some things did come to mind, but it was vanilla compared to what others thought of as naughty in the sexual senses atleast." Is wanting to touch someone's hand again considered naughty? If so, then yes. As for what is stopping me? I will not push my bounds. Why haven't I? I am respectful. I will await till the person is more... Ready for such." He would not push his luck, if he has any really. Nor enter the others bubble till they wish.

💗 how do you show you care? what do people do that makes you feel loved?i try to support them when theyre doing what they love...! and i like it when people check up on me.. 

💝 what gift would you like to receive? what type do you like to give?anything handmade... actually honestly literally any kind of gift makes me happy... i think i’m not very good at gifts but i tend to give things that have something to do with our shared interests
