GACHIAKUTA - Jabber x Zanka
An infographic of the seven times the city of Rome was sacked. Across more than 1,900 years (390 BCE–1527 CE), the sacks of Rome reveal not a single moment of collapse, but a recurring pattern of vulnerability shaped by shifting political systems, military power, and imperial overstretch. From the Republican era through the Western and Eastern Roman Empires and into the early modern period, Rome’s fortunes rose and fell with the structures meant to protect it.
There are three things about these three leatherbros that are super tight: 1) Their tight black leather biker jackets 2) Their skintight leather jeans 3) Their love and affection for each other! No trio could be tighter! You got a problem with that?

Date: 1725–1729
Medium: Oil on canvas

Description
The city of Carthage was captured by the Vandals from the Western Roman Empire on 19 October 439. Under their leader Genseric, the Vandals crossed the Strait of Gibraltar into Africa and captured Hippo Regius in August 431, which they made the capital of their kingdom. Despite an uneasy peace with the Romans, Genseric made a surprise attack against Carthage in October 439. After capturing Carthage, the Vandals put the city to the sack and made it the new capital of their kingdom.
