I worry that because no one has ever told me I'm not acting like myself, and because I don't have much amnesia, that something other then multiplicity is going on. I know it's ok if I don't. But it makes me feel like a liar to think about. I know logically I'd have to be faking on purpose. Cause it's a choice to pretend. But maybe I'm the special case that is doing it on accident. if that makes sense
Hey anon, it's understandable to have worries about if you're multiple or not. I'd like to say a few things about the examples you've given.
In our own experience, we've also never had anyone tell us we "weren't acting like ourself". Things like that though can happen to people who are still plural. Many systems are covert, meaning members might act similarly to one another, use the body's name, or not act themselves around others to not be found out.
Regarding your other point, there are many systems without amnesia entirely. It is not a requirement to be plural. In fact, the goal for many systems is to no longer have amnesia.
If what you have found based on your experiences so far has led you to question plurality, there's nothing wrong about that. It doesn't make you a liar, it shows you are a person genuinely interested in the truth. That's a good thing.
I hope some of this can help some of your doubts!
