Turkey loaf is a hearty dish that tastes great and makes you feel good. This version made in a slow cooker is very simple to make, and the flavors will blend beautifully while you go about your day.
Ingredients: 2 lbs ground turkey. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1/4 cup chopped parsley. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 eggs, beaten. 1/4 cup ketchup. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried sage. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, parsley, garlic, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 75C. Once cooked, carefully remove the turkey loaf from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve slices of turkey loaf with your favorite sides and enjoy!
