Keto Salad with Hard Boiled Eggs, Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes
Learn how to make the most beautiful hard-boiled eggs with yolks that are perfectly cooked and shells that are easy to peel. You can eat these eggs as a snack, on salads, or in sandwiches.
Ingredients: 6 large eggs. Water for boiling. Ice water for cooling.
Instructions: In a saucepan, lay the eggs out in a single layer. Fill the pot with water until it comes up about an inch above the eggs. Set the pan on medium-high heat and add the water. Bring the water to a full boil. When the water starts to boil, put the lid on the pan and take it off the heat. If you want the yolks to be soft, let the eggs sit in the hot water for 9 minutes. If you want them fully hard-boiled, let them sit for 12 minutes. Get a bowl of ice water ready while the eggs are cooking. When the time is up, use a slotted spoon to move the eggs from the hot water to the ice water bath to stop cooking and let them cool. Do not take the eggs out of the ice water until they are completely cool. This should take at least 5 minutes. Every egg should be cooled down before being cracked on a hard surface. Then, roll the egg between your hands to loosen the shell. Run water over the eggs to get rid of any shell pieces that are still there. Use a paper towel to dry the peeled eggs, and then serve them whole or cut up.

A quick and easy way to use the Instant Pot to make hard-boiled eggs, great for a keto-friendly snack or meal prep.
Ingredients: 6 large eggs. 1 cup water.
Instructions: Fill up the Instant Pot with one cup of water. Put the rack or trivet inside the pot. Place the eggs on the trivet with care. Close the lid and turn the valve so that it seals. Choose either "Manual" or "Pressure Cook," and then set the timer for 5 minutes of high pressure. Let the pressure drop naturally for 5 minutes after the timer goes off. After 5 minutes, quickly and carefully let go of any pressure that is still there. Take off the lid and put the eggs in a bowl with ice water for five minutes. This will stop the cooking process. Enjoy the eggs after you peel them.
