Chapter 32 is out!

One's ideas must be as broad as Nature if they are to interpret Nature.

It is only those who are in constant revolt that discover what is true, not the man who conforms, who follows some tradition. It is only when you are constantly inquiring, constantly observing, constantly learning, that you find truth, God, or love.

If conscience disapproves, the loudest applauses of the world are of little value.

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

I would be careful not to confuse the term Science with Knowledge. Science does not mean knowledge. The terms are not interchangeable. Science is the act or pursuit of acquiring knowledge through unbiased measurements, evidence and non-abstract methods. It is the means to obtain knowledge, it is not knowledge itself.

Dogmas of every kind put assertion in the place of reason and give rise to more contention, bitterness, and want of charity than any other influence in human affairs.
