Let's be real, if you got a bunch of female combat specialists, in a period that also have stays as a part of regular feminine clothing, you are going to end up with brigandine stays below your regulated uniforms. Sure, you won't do tricky stuff with weird spine bends. But you wouldn't do so wearing a chest plate on top of the uniform either.
Step 1) Keep your breasts in place Step 2) Add nice hidden armour to the stay Step 3) Replace the busk with a blade Step 4) Slay
The skiritai combat uniform is based on late 17th century fashion. With a big heavy cloak on top. Here's hoping they don't have to fight in actual warm climates, while wearing stuff very much designed for a time period in Europe's Small Ice Age.

I saw these at the North Star Auction preview on Friday night and decided to give it a shot today. The bidding went back and forth quite a bit but I eventually persevered, and comfortably under my set max, which was nice.
Made by Salem China Company in Salem, Ohio - Tricorne/Streamline design in mandarin/orange and white. Pieces in varying condition, but most in spiffy shape.
1 - 11.25” plate
11 - 9” plates
6 - 9” plates with indent for cup
1 - 6.25” plate
8 - 3.75” bowls
1 - 5.25” sugar bowl with lid
2 - 4.25” creamers
7 - 3.75” cups
And 1 - 4” ice cream cup that almost matches but not quite - unmarked
There’s also a coffee pot in this design and color scheme, but the two I found online were both priced at $750 so nope. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a larger bowl size as well. And a possible salt and pepper set.
They’re so fetch.
