My body is frail. My mind is rattling. My heart is still beating, But it's not I, who keeps me living. What is this place? What is this mental plain of living life? It is I, who must die to myself So I may live once again! The flames of trails and tribulations Test my spiritual foundation. So I may rise as a new creation On wings that will take me higher into the sky. This body must die and arise daily To continue living for I am the Phoenix of God's Heavenly Kingdom. Once again, My body is frail. My mind is rattling. My heart is still beating, But it's not I, who keeps me living. It is HE, who is death and life. Like the flowers that bloom in Spring And die in the Fall. It's all part of HIS set cycle of Life. This body must die and arise daily To continue living for I am the Phoenix of God's Heavenly Kingdom. Where purpose and passion thrives. Nothing else in my life makes living Evermore fulfilling!
