Iâm sadly feeling the lack of a daily med that helps with my menopause symptoms. đ˘ Itâs so far one of the few downfalls living in a rural town that no longer has a local pharmacy. *sigh* Plus the closest one to me is usually out-of-stock of that medication too. đŁ I just get peeved with myself that I lose so much energy and focus to get things done. Even with things I enjoy doing. It reminds me of my past years battling with chronic depression, and I straight-up refuse to go back there!
As a Follower of Christ, the Lord gives me comfort in reminding me of something Jesus told His disciples; Peter, John & James, in the garden of Gethsemane. âThen he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. âCouldnât you men keep watch with me for one hour?â he asked Peter. âWatch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.ââââ (Matthew⏠â26âŹ:â40âŹ-â41⏠âNIVâŹâŹ) My spirit is so very willing, but my body is imperfect and aging. âThat is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.â ââ(2 Corinthians⏠â4âŹ:â16⏠âNLTâŹ) Thank you Holy Spirit for comforting me through Godâs Word!!! Iâm always too quick to criticize myself. Thatâs the complete opposite of living in Christâs Grace freely given to me! Love You, Jesus!!! â¤ď¸
