𝓘m the top student, I'm highly educated, I memorize and completely understand all topics and getting into academic debates and winning is so easy for me. My vocabulary is abundant, my speech skills are on top, my voice is amazing and im always confident of my mind, and every teacher is always praising my intelligence and loving my work all the time, every student know im smart and always prioritized.
𝓘 get into the school and university I want because im the best, THEY are the one reaching for me. New opportunities always reach out first because of my incredible potential.
if you are worried about your grades, i got you.
i graduated recently with honors and got top grades even though i barely attended and was doing horribly my first year. (which could’ve heavily impacted my overall gpa)
how did i do it ?
⤷ well, it’s very simple.
1. stop putting your grades, school, university, etc. on a pedestal.
you need to acknowledge the fact that it’s not only possible to put people in your life on a pedestal, but also other things in life. treat your grades exactly like an sp. there is nothing higher than you. there is nothing out of your reach. put yourself on that damn pedestal and stop thinking that good grades are unachievable.
2. you’ve always been smart, you’re just aware of it now.
know your worth. know you’re smart. know you’re special. know that you get special treatment from your professors/teachers. and don’t just know it, claim that you’ve been born with it. you are not just smart, but beyond intelligent. know your worth and don’t underestimate yourself. you can be aware of any reality. any possibility. choose to be aware of the one that benefits you because even if you believe that you’re not smart in your current one, there is a reality in which you’re literally the top student.
3. stop being so bothered. it’s not the end of the world.
please do yourself a favor and stop being worried and bothered to the point you ruin your own mental health over something that honestly, doesn’t really matter that much. there are thousands of people who achieved their dreams without any education. millions of people who graduated with normal or below average grades yet achieved so much. your life and success do not depend on your grades. education is a system. a man-made one. and any man-made system is not above the law. so stop stressing. it’s not the end of the world. they’re just grades. they do not define your worth or success in life.
4. if people in your life are stressing you tf out:
remember that everyone is you pushed out. they’re just reflecting your own fears. they are YOU. so, why would you care about their opinion or expectations ? you only need to validate yourself. if they’re pressuring you to get good grades, know that they’re just mirroring you so their words are less effective. yk that it is within you so you’ll simply change that. be relaxed within, and that’ll reflect outwards.
5. before persisting to get good grades, persist to better your health.
you can manifest even if you’re in the depths of hell. however, there is nothing more precious or important than yourself. your well-being. always treat yourself with care. look at yourself from a third person perspective and feel empathetic towards yourself. nothing deserves your mental health to be wrecked. so, persist that you’re fine. that you’re okay. do some techniques. meditate. script. do breath work. eft tapping. whatever. you don’t even have to do techniques. listen to or watch something you love. eat or go to a place that brings you peace or joy. you can also go within and use your most powerful tool (imagination) and imagine scenarios that bring you peace and stability. maybe drink tea before doing so then play some soft music or a meditation.
6. you deserve princess treatment and to be favored everywhere you go.
yes, you do. just assume and persist in the fact that you stand out and your teachers/professors are always rooting for you. my self-concept was so high when it came to this that so many professors remarked my papers giving me the highest grades. (going from 11/20 to 17/20 for example, which was as same as the highest grade the other students got !) i even manifested my professors praising me in front of everyone and clearly favoring me in all aspects. they would treat me so well compared to others and always remarked my papers or gave me high grades even on my presentations. and i’d like to note that in school, i didn’t have the same experience. so it was a total shift for me. so, yes. it is 100% possible. everyone else’s experience with my professors was negative or neutral. so this proves it.
7. when you enter your exams, do your assignments, etc. live in the END.
i always did that. before entering any exam. starting any assignment. any presentation. any project. i’d just live in the end that i already got excellent grades and that i’m an A student and everyone around me reflected this as well calling me an “A student” just by continuously telling myself and affirming that i’m one ! i would imagine that i already received my reports and got straight As. so no matter what i did on any of these, i didn’t care. even when i did horribly or didn’t completely finish any of them, i’d tell myself, well, i already got an A. i’m not saying that i didn’t study at all but i didn’t really put that much effort into anything. remember, you can’t be stressed when it’s already yours. you already know the truth. you already know what will happen. you already know you succeeded and you’re an A student so why should you worry ? be it.
8. manifest other people helping you.
i’ve manifested so many notes and help from people around me. even in group projects, i loved being the leader but sometimes, i felt like i didn’t care that much so i just assumed that they’ll take care of it (mind you, most of the people i was assigned to be with where either the type to do nothing at all or were the type to be really strict), and they did. they put absolutely no pressure on me and did everything whenever i just assumed that they will and won’t bother me about it. you can also manifest people sending you their notes if you don’t have any or don’t want to write ones. always remind yourself that resources are everywhere and people around you would do anything to help you and make your life easier.
9. you graduated. you’re happy. it’s done.
tbh, this is what kept me going the most. i acknowledged the fact that i’m going to graduate 100% like obviously i won’t stay here forever. i just kept thinking about my graduation day and guess what, it came so fast. the years i’ve spent in uni, i don’t even remember them. whenever you’re stressed, just imagine yourself graduating and know that it’s inevitable. school and university are temporary. just ask anyone who has graduated, they’ll tell you the same.
these are currently a few points i had in mind. i hope they helped, even for a bit. feel free to ask me anything !
you’re an A student,
never forget that. <3 (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
Productivity tips! ヾ(≧▽≦)o
some tips i will be following for the next 7+ months
also i write sometimes so check that out if you are interested^^ here is the masterlist
1+2 rule: pomodoro study session for 2hrs and 1hr revision
(if you are like me and you find pomodoro session too short, try 90 min ultradian sprint followed by a 20min break)
switching subjects after 1hr
1-3-5 method: 1 must do; 3 should do's; 5 could do's
replacing social media dopamine hits with ted talks or anything that sparks creativity in your field of study
quality>quantity
take boring breaks: just sit in silence, walk around, stretch but don't check your socials or listen to music
create a study playlist and do not listen to those songs outside your study session, and put it on before you start your session to get into that mode
this is for when you're struggling to get in the flow state - do the task for 5 min and if do get into the flow state (which you will) set a 25 min timer and then follow through with pomodoro technique.
take 30 seconds break after each 30 min, take deep breaths; helps to reset and rewire your brain
take mini-breaks throughout the day- which are non-academic to unwind and keep yourself away from your gadgets
if you are struggling to be consistent, a study partner (on dc or focusmate or any other online community) might be what you need and don't go easy on each other, share daily targets, helps you to stay motivated
for the people working overtime with adhd to make their dreams come true and become an academic weapon (specifically inattentive type because i have that) i have listed out some tips that might help you here
for those of you whose primary device for studying is not your phone, i am seriously saying, DISABLE YOUR YOUTUBE, you will love your life once you get rid of rotting your brain on youtube shorts and just scrolling for dopamine hit, it also helps you to stay productive throughout the day because you did not start your day with instant dopamine
asian mom checking on you studying video on youtube, that is the advice you never knew you needed but it is gold
for my people who have to do lots of question solving , and are prone to getting the questions wrong when attempting , make an error log, track what question you got wrong from which chapter , and categorise it as "silly/conceptual gap/application issue/time management error" and work accordingly
everytime you think of procrastinating and doomscrolling, remember 'THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL"
for revision followed by pyq solving, first making the short notes of the chapter, taking about 1-2 pages of all topics and their related concept and formula is effective for chapter revision and then it makes it easier to refer to a concept when solving pyq; i just started doing it and it is pretty effective, IMPORTANT: KEEP IT HANDWRITTEN
please don't fight the extra hours to make your study sessions in double digits (time-wise). always remember, consistency is better than slaving away and falling prey to burn outs. be consistent even if it is an hour on a rough day and be kind to yourself, the world is enough is put you in that mental cage of expectations.
how to practice and revise multiple chapters a day (for droppers and school goers) here
Some motivation for when exams are approaching near (mainly competitive entrance ones like JEE/NEET)
for when your exams are nearing - make a pros and cons list of each subject , pros and cons about yourself related to that subject like things you're good at about that subject and things you find it difficult and are repulsed by when on the said subject - use this list to find out the areas you need to work on , strengthen the parts you already are familiar with instead of learning something new when time is not much for your exams
here is how to track your study time
how to stay consistent even if you don't have the motivation or the drive
how to plan your schedule
how to score well or average or at least pass even for tough exams if you only have a few days left
how to efficiently revise in less time
ps.
i will keep editing this as time goes and i find more useful tips<3
📑📚 ACE YOUR EXAMS 📚📑
This is a guide for people who have exams coming up. It consists of what to do if you want 100% on your upcoming exams, study tips, and more!
Study tips:
Check this masterlist by @merakinotes and also this post+ masterlist by @areistotle it has everything you’ll ever need.
Bank of questions / past papers study method: you can create your own questions on Quizlet or any online quiz maker or use past papers/ revision resources.
Study everyday. If your exam is even a month away, that’s good because it means you don’t have to study hours everyday, but you can at least keep a goal to study 30 mins a day or to learn/ understand/ memorise a new thing part of that topic every day.
Feynman technique. Basically pretend as if you’re the teacher and teach the topic to someone/ something (ex a stuffed animal)
Record yourself talking. When you’re revising, record yourself talking about some of the stuff so you can listen to it later when you’re unable to study.
Visual learning!! Personally, I love this one. If you’re studying something like science, history, etc, then draw pictures! Draw pictures to better help you understand a word/ concept. (Example: in science I couldn’t remember the whole definition of combustion so I just drew a stickman image of the atom and the oxygen and then those 2 chemically combined)
During the exam:
Never turn the exam in early!! Are you finished? Then re read the exam and re take the exam. Double check, triple check etc your answers. Keep looking through your answers again and again, step by step. Only give the test in at the very end.
Watch the clock! Don’t spend lots of time on one question trying to figure it out. Look at the time and make sure you still have enough to complete all the questions and maybe also recheck them.
If you don’t completely understand a question/ it’s more complicated: skip it and go to the next question. Come back to that harder question later.
Manifesting:
Remember: the 100/100 grade is already yours. You just need to claim it!
Affirmations: you can create your own set of customised affirmations or you can use THIS affirmation list that I made for high grades
Subliminal: I’ve made a playlist on YouTube with all my favourite academic subliminals. You can also search up 100/100 grades or full marks in tests subliminals.
More resources:
(These are just to further help you if these tips do not help. Remember that watching videos or reading about studying/ study tips is not studying. It’s procrastinating. Consume these in moderation.)
