And It’s a bittersweet announcement that we’ll be going back home to Utah this Spring. Family is everything to me and it’s not been the same here the past few years without family living close by. Life without my mom has been incredibly painful, harder than I thought it would be. It’s a pain I don’t wish on anyone. Mom’s are such a blessing and I miss mine every day. I don’t like living so far from my dad and my sisters either. After two years, we were able to take a trip to Utah to visit family in Utah and New Mexico and I want to stay. I’m incredibly blessed that I’ll be able to move and continue with my regular job. There are many opportunities for barn sales, art shows and festivals and I’ve been working on my online shops (slowly but, finally making progress) to continue sharing my art. The whole family is moving with me (daughters and grandson) and my heart is so happy for that. I’ve made so many wonderful friends here in TN since we moved here in 2010. I will miss spontaneous visits, seeing all my creative friends at shows but, I’ll still be traveling out here for work a few times a year so don’t forget me 😉 It’s still a little surreal. I didn’t think we’d move back for a few more years but, prayers were answered and many things have lined up to make it possible now. So far, my ex has been positive and expressed desires for peace between us. Huge prayers that this doesn’t change. If you know my history with him, this is HUGE and was a real concern. SO...local friends, I’d love to spend time with you as much as I can before we go. Utah family and friends, I cannot wait to be close to you again and my heart is full thinking about a few special reunions that will be had. HOME is such a comforting word.
