Thinking about how in the DKP saga, Tenshinhan does all this in 1 day:
Breaks Yamcha's leg
Learns how to do a Kamehameha & then uses it
Abandons his martial arts school & evil ways after being shown the light by the rival school's master
Wins the 22nd tenkaichi budokai
Discovers Krillin's dead body/holds it in his arms
Learns about the dragon balls
Travels the earth to find 5 of the 7 dragon balls with Roshi & Chaoz
Witnesses the appearance of the dragon god Shenron for the first time
Gets incapacitated & then is forced to watch Roshi, Chaoz & Shenron get killed while the Demon King is restored to his prime
And then after this he teaches himself the mafuba overnight
I was thinking about all this when I got to this page... to think Chaoz wouldn't have died right there if Ten didn't say anything, and Ten was forced to watch/live with that... AND he just watched Roshi get killed too, AND Shenron who would have been the only way to bring them back, AND he can't even move or do anything because of the stuff Roshi hit him with. AND he witnesses the terrible Demon King get restored to his peak condition, Goku is assumed to be dead at this time so things just seem ultra screwed. He was having a ROUGH time. Really eventful day...
He does all that in a day and STILL learns the mafuba over the course of a single night, immediately after... Tenshinhan had BEEN that guy but just had to get screwed by the narrative 😔💔...
