Petey is in her Thundercoat. That thing works wonders. I put it on her, and in a minute, she was relaxed. The gentle tightness brings down her blood pressure and calms her almost instantly. It's like a giant hug. I, also, gave her 5mg of melatonin and 2 CBD chews. Things have gotten very loud outside, and she's just laying by my side with a big, goofy grin!! I have my TV up very loud and the air conditioner on so she can't hear things going on outside. In an hour, it'll sound like a war zone outside. There will be smoke rolling through the streets, and the smell of cordite will permeate the air. It sorta reminds me of the South Bronx in the late 70s, but I digress. I miss the fireworks and the festivities, but I am happy to take care of Petey and get her through this night. That's what she'd do for me if I needed it so it's my honor to do it for her. She's my best friend and I love her unconditionally!!! ALWAYS... πππβ€οΈβ€οΈ
