Now Ariel’s been through a lot of revisions over the years, from her overall character design, to her personality, her backstory, hell even her name has changed a couple times!

ALSO IT TOOK WAY TO MANY TRIES TO DRAW HER FREAKIN HAIR!!!! 😭 drawing it how I saw in my head while also trying to make it make sense for the 2011 Thundercats art style! It was SO frustrating!!

… anyway.. 🥺

I’ll make a post with her many different concepts (both her design and the info on how I’ve changed her story over the years) but that’ll come much later after I’ve finished her “final” character sheet.. I’m still working on that. 😅

Anyway.. I’m not entirely satisfied with how the colors came out, particularly with her hair.. I was going for a “dusty rose, dirty blonde” but it came out more ginger.. I put an unedited picture of the drawing below if you want to see it.

Okay, I just wanted to give y'all a heads up because this story IS gonna touch on a few topics that will likely be.. uncomfortable, for allot of people. As Reincarnation will play a big part throughout the storyline, it'll be covering character Death. As well as themes of Racism and Prejudice (Tygra is influenced by some nasty Elders.. but he gets better pretty quickly) and character Depression. (Ariel/Ari).

So if these things are difficult or triggering, please keep in mind to take a breather, relax a minute with a good cup of tea, a warm blanket, and listen to your favorite music. And if it ends up being a bit much, you can drop the story all together.

I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable, and y'all's mental and emotional health is extremely important. (I know mine isn't the best). But if you still wanna read my book, I can guarantee lots of sweet and wholesome moments to come.. and a guaranteed happy ending for the whole thing. ☺️.

#1, Lion-O's bi.

#2, Panthro's gay (and so is Dobo, The Leader of Dog city. *Wink~wink*wiggly eyebrows* 😉)

#3, Grune is Panthro’s ex. Can confirm.. the “divorce” was hella messy.. blood everywhere.

#4, Lion-O’s the Reincarnation of Leo. (Plot)

#5, Jaga's lived for a few Centuries, at least. (He’s not ancient.. but he’s no spring-chicken either)

#6, Thundareans have Natural instincts to help find their Mate, & Mate for Life. (Plot'ish).

#7, It’s not unusual for couples in this universe to include Three or more Mates.. it’s quite normal. #polyamory

#8, SilverHawks, TigerSharks, and the Transformers all exists in this universe. They may not All make a personal appearance in the story, but they do get mentioned..

#9, The warrior maidens are legit Amazons. (and WILL be in the story..👿 screw y'all CN! you COWARDS!!)

#10, Third Earth is a future/Magically ‘nuked’ version of our world that humans abandoned more than a thousand years ago. (Plot)

#11, Mumm-Rana exists, and was a Warrior Maiden (possibly even a Queen) before becoming the Immortal Champion to the Ancient Guardian Spirits. (I changed their name because "The Ancient Spirits Of Goodness" sounds hokie as heck..😅 but I still love them.).

#12, Both Tygra & Cheetara still have their psychic abilities from the Original show, with Tygra being trained with the Cleric’s for a short time during Childhood..

#13, Tygra often uses his psychic abilities to secretly protect his little brother Lion-O, from corrupt officials and scheming nobles alike.. keyword.. Secretly.

#14, Lion-O doesn’t think Tygra likes him that much anymore.. they were really close as Cubs, but have a very distant and strained relationship at the start of the story..

#15, Tygra pretends to dislike Lion-O (Or at least his position as Crown Prince) so he can keep a close eye on Nobles that want to Oppose Lion-O becoming the future king..

#16, King Clawdus knows about Tygra’s “Act” he disagrees with the method Tygra chose, but doesn’t say anything (anymore, Tygra’s too stubborn to listen anyway) because it has actually been proven affective in Protecting Lion-O.

#17, The Unicorn Keepers are a sweet old Veela couple, named "Vanna & Voll".(Not necessarily plot related, I just thought it'd be cute to include them with a sweet little cameo.)

#18, The royal family aren’t the only Lion’s there are a few other families, some Nobles, some merchants or farmers, and of course the Sabertooth-Lion clan of knights that Grune comes from.

• OC’s~ for “Re-born To Love You”

(slight spoilers ahead)

Lion-O finding out who his Mate is by accident because they were able to use the Sword of Omens and it’s abilities.. but it was in the middle of battle and they weren’t really thinking much of the situation.. since they didn’t know the Sword could ONLY be used by its Chosen wielder and it’s wielders Mate… returning the blade to him with an oblivious smile before they leave to assist the others and make sure nobody was seriously hurt.. as he just stares after them.. utterly stunned and in lovestruck awe~

Could absolutely apply to both OG Lion-O or 2011 Lion-O ..

Strange elvish-like creatures, dangerous, affectionate, deadly, wild, beautiful, ferocious, vengeful, irrevocably Loyal beyond practical reason.. from one life to the next…

Unique in their features, as well as strange in their mannerisms and instincts..

Though appearances differ.. depending on one’s ancestral Clan.. few universal traits appear across the diverse clans.. such as, Long ears, sharp but subtle upper & lower canines in their teeth, and (for some reason) A resting million yard stare..

The Dusii “Nymph” clan~

The most common skin-tone is Green, though rarely they may have a Golden yellow hue..

Hair ranging in deep or vibrant colors, hues of Red, Purple, Green and Teal..

Eyes either ranging in hues of Green with golden pupils, or Gold with Amber-Red pupils, shining like jewels when emotional or changing to a Deep dark hue if enraged..

The Clan symbol of the Dusii is a Flower.

Most compatible element: Nature.

Lesser common elements: Water, Wind.

Incompatible/ dangerous element: Fire.

The Gaoithe “Sylph” clan~

The most common skin-tone is Purple, though rarely they may have a pink hue..

Hair always a striking Silver while reflecting hidden hues of Purple, blue or pink..

Eyes a shining silver with a lavender sheen, a shimmering glow visible when emotional.. or the silver turning almost black when enraged..

The Clan symbol of the Gaoithe are Stars.

Most compatible element: Wind.

Lesser common elements: Fire, Water.

Incompatible/ dangerous element: Nature.

The Neptuni “Undine” clan~

The most common skin-tone is Blue, some may have a pale and almost white-green hue..

Hair ranging in many shades of Blue, golden Green, or rarely pearl White..

Eyes a deep Blue with blood red pupils, shimmering like the Sea on a starry night when emotions run high, and become as dark and unforgiving as the Depths of the Ocean of Souls when angered.

The Clan symbol of the Neptuni is the tear of fate.

The Ellylldan “Mídgna” clan~

The average skin-tone is Gray, with undertones varying from blue to dusty purple.

Hair in colors of Rich Plum, ginger, charcoal black, and electric blue.

Eyes either a shade of Deep Orange, or vibrant cranberry purple.

The Clan symbol of the Ellylldan is a Diamond.

Most compatible element: Fire.

Lesser common elements: Wind, Nature.

Reincarnation~ Depth of one Soul~ A house of many Spirits~

There is a distinct difference between one’s Soul, the source of life, and the living Spirit, one’s own individuality and personhood..

The Sylvàn-fae are of but a rare few people who deeply understand this truth.. As they reincarnate within their family’s bloodline after death..

For the Sylvàn-fae, when a Soul experiences their first Spirit, their Clan-Marking is most noticeable, as it lies clear in place of one’s pupil, causing the eyes of a “First Spirit” to be considered one of the most beautiful gems In Third Earth..

Making them more so desirable to those unsavory types seeking a prize to wed.. Afterwords however.. the Clan marking appears on their flesh, typically at a location on their body in some way related to their demise in the past life..

Literally stabbed in the back? Then you’ll be reborn with your Clans mark on your back in the next life.. Or did you drink poison? Clan Mark on your throat, Head crushed by a boulder? Mark on your forehead, poisoned arrow in the shoulder perhaps? Then in your next life, Clan mark on your shoulder…. Simple enough to decipher..

Each Spirit is always acknowledged as their own person, separate to any past life their Soul may have experienced, regardless of who their previous Spirit was, once death and rebirth occurs.. the previous Spirit is lost as their Soul moves forward into the next life, and a new Spirit.

However.. if the next Spirit resonates too closely to the last.. a convergence is a real danger, possibly destroying both Spirits.. and their Soul along with them, making any further rebirth of their Soul impossible.

But beware~ there are those, who could summon forward their past Spirit to aid them in their mind.. some may even accomplish this by accident… if they hold a talisman with great emotional ties to their past life, Or experience dreams of their former Spirit passing on their talents and teachings to them in childhood..

But those who have a cracked door between past and present must remain wary.. as they are at a greater risk for being afflicted by Spirit Madness.

An illness most devastating to these people is Spirit Madness.. when one’s past life breaches through to the current Spirit, it causes great pain and tremendous suffering.. experiencing the memory of Death as their body temporarily shifts to the appearance of the past Spirit, wounds of the past life afflicting the new body.. even fatal wounds.. pulling one back from this state is not easy.. the longer it lasts, the more a person forgets their true self.. once the past life erases all traces of their reincarnation.. they will die.. and their Soul becomes lost in The Ocean of Souls~

A hopeless, Spiritual place.. beyond death.. beyond dreams.. where Nightmares roam free.

A Culture of Song, Dance, Loyalty, and Love worth fighting for~

Their Love for Music is near legend, singing for every occasion, both joyous and mournful. Dancing and twirling about with unbridled abandon when the bands play..

Even more precious to them however.. is a deep devotion to family, of both blood and those chosen by heart alike.. bonds they all hold sacred.. but… If that Treasured bond of Family is broken or betrayed? Forgiveness is not what you may find first in their hearts..

the Sylvan-fae are known creatures of the Wilderness who share an unshakable alliance with the Warrior Maidens, as well as a keen natural talent for battle. Granted most ignored it..

Those Entrusted with protecting the people of the four clans, as well as their allies were named the Alóre’Enya, noble peace keepers trained to completely immobilize an enemy in a swift motion by striking pressure points in the body.. even the lightest touch of a finger could win the fight in their favor.

Beastly Guardians~

Each of the Fae are born with abilities to change into Beastly froms akin to that of mythical creatures, regardless of whichever Clan they are from, the possibilities of what creatures they become are nearly endless..

However, after one’s first transformation.. changes are to be expected of their natural appearance as well.. their inner beast marks them in that way.. granted it is typically quite subtle.

Ears becoming longer or furry, horns, tails, webbed hands and feet, feathers sprouting from their hair, claws and fangs perhaps..

It’s all quite possible..

Magical Beast malady~

If anyone of the Fae Clans severed themselves from their magic (typically because of traumatic events) the lack of magic flowing in their body begins to drain their life away.. killing them slowly..

And if they die in this state, it is possible that their Spirit will merely change into their Beastly form.. instead of crossing over into rebirth.. causing their sick body to despair.. doing so saves their life.. but they are essentially trapped in the body of a Beast intill they gather enough magic to sustain transforming into a “Human” shape.. though it will maintain much more animalistic features then their original body..

And the whole process often leaves the Maladies victims confused.. their Beastly body doesn’t materialize were they died.. instead appearing near the ancestral woodlands of their Clan..

And those old ruins have long since been abandoned..

Where have they gone?

All the Clans of the Sylvàn-fae vanished from the known people of Third Earth nearly three hundred years ago.. after generations of conflict, their young and eligible being hunted like prey for their striking beauty and unique magic as prized Brides & Grooms.. they grew tired of it all.

So they left… or rather.. hidden themselves away.

Choosing to remain in their Beastly forms, guarding the shadows of the cursed forest they took shelter in.. And there they remain.. at least.. for now.

There are rumors across Third Earth, however.. That the exact location of the Sylvàn-fae is a closely guarded secret to the royal family of the Warrior Maidens..

Tis truly a shame… All adventurers with the foolish ambition to reveal that precious secret.. were never heard from again after they entered the Tree-Top kingdom..
