The more things change the more they stay the same!

The cunning and mischievous Wilykat & Wilykit, once again experimenting with fur colors, I personally hc them as Caracals so I figured to rusty reddish orange would be perfect, pretty happy with how they turned out!

So if y'all weren't already aware I am absolutely convinced that Wilykit and Wilykat are supposed to be members of the Caracal clan.

Interesting fact about Caracals, they were frequently trained as hunting companions by royalty in both Africa and South Asia (this was also fairly common for Cheetahs as well). As well as sporting events where nobility would bet how many loosed birds their Caracal could catch.

What if the Caracal clan sends their children to train and be raised in other royal/noble houses to hone and refine their skills before returning home to their families upon adulthood? Perhaps ensuring they will grow up with other children from their adopted culture, like, a young Lion prince perhaps?

Hey there! So I just wanted to share a crazy idea for a Thundercats AU with you! It could be mixed in with the modern au. In my au the wilytwins, Kat and Kit (who are around 12-14) form a band with Bengali, and a female thunderian? The reason why they formed the band is because despite meeting in detention, the wilytwins formed a bond with Bengali and the female thunderian. Iʻve been developing the concept for a few days and itʻs kinda similar to jem and the holograms mixed with the aesthetic of the Beatrix girls (the image on top). Together the quartet goes on wacky hijinks and tour around the world. Maybe in an alternate universe they would have a doll brand and would ultimately fail or be a decent success? Who knows.

The bands name would be called something like "ThunderRockers" or "ThunderKids" something like that. Iʻm not quite sure what genre of songs they would sing. I was thinking early 2010s Katy Perry like songs, or maybe pop rock songs. Each band member would have a certain aesthetic. Kat could be the lead vocalist and have a scene aesthetic and likes to journal and draw. For Kit I can see her being a scene tomboy who either skates or is into gaming, she would play the drums. For Bengali he could be the soft one and is the nerdy one of the group, he would play the bass. For the female thunderian she would have a sweet and bubbly personality, but when you cross her sheʻll go mortal combat one you, she would play the keyboard and tambourine. I feel like if they did exist they would be more flashy, colorful, and campy (which I love). While I do want I scene aesthetic, I think early 2010s Disney channel fashion would suit them best.

Lemme know what your thoughts are, and maybe you can draw what kit and cat might look like if this concept was real (not forcing).

I do like this idea, and I can see it being a spin off show. More so for the Og show or roar, than 2011, as in that show it's a bit of a stretch.

I also think it'd be nice if they had a mutant on the team. Show that they aren't, well, racist 😅
