Adam Glenn, and a few of his struggles surviving on EarthâŚâŚ where no one really understood how different he was⌠and he had to discover himself how strange and varied the divide was between the Biology of Eternians and EarthiansâŚâŚ
From being a weak âSquinkâ to a freak that no one would take seriously⌠and if they did take him seriously?? It was because they thought he was Fucking crazy, or lost in his own Delusions.

⢠Audio overloadâŚâŚ
Itâs all just too much for him... like seriously, Good golly does that sweet sad little white boi need some of those chunky noise canceling headphones every time he leaves for work⌠or goes shopping⌠or for anything really.âŚ.
If you think about it, there isnât a lot of constant artificial noise happening around Eternia⌠Which for the Eternians and all the other races living on the planet.. thatâs perfect!
Itâs drastically different on our world, like the every day subtle background noise from all the technology we have on Earth⌠itâs distracting at best, but deeply Overstimulating at itâs worst!! ďżź
Again, the Eternianâs are descended from an ancient Race of Tribal warriors and hunters, with very strong instinctive and biological animalistic traits⌠so It really makes sense theyâd have more sensative hearing built in to their genetics used for tracking and hunting for Thousands of yearsâŚ.
Now their hearing definitely isnât nearly quite at an insane superhuman level or anythingâŚ..
But itâs just enough of a problem (especially for a growing child like Adam, who is more than likely also on the Neurodivergent spectrum.) when suddenly introduced to an extremely different environment.
After Adam is sent to Earth itâs all EXTREMELY overwhelming for him, poor baby Adam was just so jumpy for the first EIGHT MONTHS!!
because there was just SO MUCH happening all around him, ALL THE TIME!!!
(Which of course, watching him just jumping at the small click of a PEN, obviously gave officials the impression that he was a very, VERY traumatized child. They also thought Adam was either a victim of human trafficking, or an escape of some secretive Cult family because he had NO RECORDS at all of his existenceâŚ. Also him talking about how heâs an Alien Prince pointed to the Cult idea too.)
Even little sounds that Humans go unbothered by are down right overstimulating to him, (click a pen, itâs so sudden and unexpected that heâll flinch every time.) because heâs also hearing damn near everything else.âŚ. And Adam never quite gets used to it⌠no matter how long heâs been on Earth forâŚâŚ
Part of Adam being so Spaced out, Clumsy, and Distracted all the time is him trying his best to just slow down and listen to the sounds around him that he knows he SHOULD be listening too past all the present background buzzing, clicking, chittering and all the other noises of Human Tech.
Noise canceling earbuds are a fucking gift from the GODDESS herself, for his sanity at WorkâŚ..
Speaking of his workâŚ
Daryl is most definitely the Office thief.
Daryl âaccidentallyâ took his earbuds once, and his morning coffeeâŚ. And his WORST offense!!Daryl ate Adamâs favorite leftoversâŚ
From his favorite Indian restaurant, ate it right out of the office fridge!!! He Didnât even heat it up!! He just ate it COLDâŚ
God he hates DarylâŚ..
Also, he loves white noise machinesâŚ..
Adam couldnât sleep properly for WEEKS when his old White Noise machine had completely fried itself in the middle of his College exams, and of course just to make things more difficultâŚ
It was a very specific model that helped to drown out almost everything and allowed him to actually get some good sleepâŚ.
It took him two six hour drives (plus traffic), 140$ bucks, and a Whole damn weekend to find the right replacement that workedâŚ..
One of his earlier Foster families did really help him to get an official Diagnosis for being on the Spectrum, and a PTSD DiagnosisâŚ.
Unfortunately for him though, Earth meds are kinda DOGSHIT for his half Magical-Alien DNA⌠Thankfully Eternia has meds that actually helpâŚ.. Once he gets home anywayâŚ. Heâs raw Dogging that shit for Fifteen Fucking years on EarthâŚ.
Heâs in Hell for like⌠75% of the timeâŚ..
Poor baby⌠He Hates crowds so muchâŚ..
Public transport is absolutely NEVER! an option for him⌠you saw how horrible he is at Driving! Heâs doing it because he Has tooâŚ
If he could just use a bus or train, without losing all his sanity? than yeah, he would NOT be Driving literally ANYWHERE!!!!
Unfortunately, driving himself is the only way he can get around and not want to scratch his ears off the whole rideâŚâŚ
(what about his Headphones? I hear You ask?? The thing about that is.. he only wears them if heâs gonna be walking somewhere⌠because then heâs at least still paying attention to his surroundingsâŚ. because the one time he tried using them on the Bus.. he instantly passed out like a Rock for half the dayâŚ. Nobody bothered him because they didnât want to risk having discovered a DEAD BODY, and loosing their own time with being questioned by authoritiesâŚ. Yep, he was that unconscious, people thought he was Dead. Luckily this was all happening during the Weekend and he was just trying to go grocery shoppingâŚ. Adam was so embarrassed when he finally woke up and apologetic to the Bus driver⌠who to her credit was just relieved he was alive, and she hadnât just been driving around with a body in her Bus the whole time⌠) đŹ
⢠Nocturnal refugeâŚâŚ (Baby has Migraines)
So yeah⌠In my mind, (and any future Fanficâs plus Thot writings I have for this He-Man universe.)
Our baby boi Adam Glenn is absolutely đŻ on the Neurodivergent spectrum, he has PTSD from his escape to Earth, heâs got Depression, and he Also suffers from chronic Migraines⌠(again because of how sensitive his eyes are to Electronic Artificial Light, and on top of that, his hearing sensitivity to Earth-Tech noisesâŚ)
So for Adam, the nearly Quiet, almost Peaceful experience he has during Nighttime is particularly important for his everyday life, a refuge for him to unwind a little and just⌠ExistâŚ. Itâs not Perfectly quiet.. but most of the strange noises from Earths technology isnât as intense⌠especially if he takes the time to walk around one of the Parks.. as long as he doesnât look up to the One lonely Moon up in Earths night sky⌠he can almost fool himself a little bit into thinking heâs finally back homeâŚâŚ
Sometimes heâll even hum some tunes he still remembers from his childhood⌠music that used to play in the palace during celebrationsâŚ..
Or a song he remembered the people would play in the Streets and Markets, Teela used to bring him and Cringer around there sometimes, usually just so they could play somewhere away from the prying eyes of the royal guards, or it was because they were just carefully picking something out to give Queen Marlena, Adam always loved getting random trinkets for his Mother⌠heâs just so freaking sweet⌠we love a precious little mammaâs boyâŚ. đĽš
(Adam heard about âMothers dayâ from Marlena once when he was really little, and asked her about Earth⌠and it really stuck with him.. he didnât really know when the holiday was supposed to be, so for him, Motherâs Day happened at least once a month⌠and he would always get something for her.)
The problem with Adam wandering the Streets or City Parks in the middle of the Night, getting lost in his memories, humming away to these songs that simply Donât exist on EarthâŚ.
Innocently⌠Absentmindedly Standing Straight up at his full hight while his (normally) Hazel Eyes are randomly catching what small amounts of light that surrounds him, making his Eyes Glow in the fucking darkâŚ..
Heâs unknowingly become one of Oklahomaâs most famous and Haunting Cryptids in the last few yearsâŚ. Many people having dubbed him the âNightWalkerâ A giant who Steals the Souls of anyone who hears his Soft Angelic voice, and is unfortunate enough to meet his Glowing EyesâŚ
Poor Adam has absolutely no idea whatsoever that HE is this spooky âNightWalkerâ
Yes, heâs heard of it⌠mostly from some people at Work who have the Late shift, huddled around the water cooler sharing their âClose Encountersâ of this new and frightening local CryptidâŚ..
He does believe that the NightWalker is real⌠itâs just the only One who knows the Cryptid is him⌠is Adamâs Roommate Hussein⌠because Hussein has seen Adam standing up at his full height, with the Lights out, and his Eyes GlowingâŚ.
Because thatâs what Hussein sees Every time heâs accidentally caught Adam in the middle of eating his Midnight snacks in their apartmentâŚâŚ
Hussein just doesnât have the heart to tell AdamâŚ
⢠Magical Deprivation & LethargyâŚâŚ
(Like Seasonal Depression? But for 15 years STRAIGHT!!!)
Earth was once Vibrant and Flourishing with Magic and many Mythical Creatures galore~
HoweverâŚ.. Earthâs Magic has since Died away, leaving the planet a husk of its former gloryâŚ.
But many of its previous Mystical inhabitants have survived that deathâŚ. One way or another⌠the Unicorns.. Griffins.. The Fae.. DragonsâŚ
Among many more Creatures had fled the World eventually founding their own refuge within the Unafflicted waiting embrace of other Dimensions and WorldsâŚ.
Moving onward to suitable Planets with Magical reserves that were not in danger of Dying away... leaving the poor creatures physically ill from the loss of Magic in the atmosphereâŚ.
Those worlds had one thing in common.. they all had shared what many Eternian Scholars of today have dubbed a Myth GateâŚ..
These Myth Gates were a strange and unusual phenomenon⌠Even in Ancient times their origins were unknown and their nature widely debated among Mages and ScholarsâŚ..
One such Myth Gate on Earth had led to a certain Planet, called Eternia⌠Eterniaâs Gates that once connected to Earth closed after Earths Magic had died awayâŚ. At least on Earthâs side of the GateâŚ.
There are still methods one could use (On Eternia) and reach out to Earth on the other sideâŚ. But.. Any who do would find themselves stranded on the Planet, with no way to return back home⌠and suffering from the worldâs Loss of MagicâŚ
Unless of course⌠if one was prepared and had the foresight to bring something with themâŚâŚ
As it turns out, Magical artifacts are unaffected by being thrust into a world Void of Magic like the current state of Modern Day EarthâŚ.
(Like the Sward of Power)
However⌠People.. Races who were born with even the smallest amount of Magic in their vains and Souls, Like the Eternianâs or a Half Eternian like AdamâŚ. They arenât as luckyâŚ
I mentioned earlier that Adam, during his time on Earth, suffers from Depression? Well Itâs mostly caused by this very phenomenonâŚ. His body is responding to what is basically a form of Trauma.. he always has this uncomfortable crawling feeling of Lethargy at some level⌠some days are a little better than othersâŚ
Due to some Isakai level of shenanigans that have happened on Earth in the past⌠there are random artifacts across the planet that have some Aura of Magic heâs found that gave him (at least a temporary) form of Relief from that feelingâŚ.
One being a strange pocket watch with the face of a screaming Green-Man on it that he got at an Antique store for only Three dollars (pretty SUS considering it was in Damn near pristine condition, Adam didnât even know why he bought it⌠he just⌠did?)
But then it kinda⌠just⌠disappeared one night?
He doesnât know how⌠and quite frankly?
The Watch actually freaked him out soooo⌠đ
Adam⌠doesnât like to think about it anymoreâŚ. even his skeptical roommate Hussein was pretty sure that the Watch was Cursed⌠or HauntedâŚ.
(.. yeah.. in case youâre wondering.. it was Haunted)
Hussein was visibly relieved when the Watch was just straight up gone one morningâŚ
Itâs become one of those things that neither of them will talk about, because of how freaky the whole thing wasâŚ..
⢠Conclusion?âŚ.. heâs a very sweet sad little Magical-Girl who really needs his fantastical environment to thrive inâŚ. đĽş
So⌠not only is Adam half a Species with innate Magic on a Planet whose Magic DIED, heâs also the living Vessel of an Ancient Cosmic Power as the literal True Chosen one to inherit the Strength and power of his Mighty Ancestor who was the Champion of The Goddess herselfâŚ
The One.. The Only⌠King MOTHERFUCKING DâVann Grayskull!!!! (No pressure or anything right!?) donât worry youâre doing great sweetie!
Babyâs felt Lethargic as fuck from the total Void of Magic in Modern Earthâs atmosphere, which again, made Adam Depressed ever since he got tossed into that big ass Lake in OklahomaâŚ.
(Oh yeah⌠Fun fact, he almost DROWNED in that Lake.)
