Yesterday my cat Thiccy passed, she was a stray that I found by my grandma’s old house, she was all dirty, greasy, and skinny, I fed her up there a few times and it was the fall and I just couldn’t bare to see her go through the winter, so I begged my mom to let me keep her, she said “if she is here next week we can take her” so next week came and she wasn’t there the whole time but just before we got into the car to leave she came running out of the woods from across the street right to me like she wanted to come with us so I took her home and she was the sweetest ever and just wanted loving and cuddles, we cleaned her up and fed her lots and she was looking good! But the past few months her health was declining fast, she had diarrhea all the time and it smelt like something died, and then we got her pills and they helped a little but were too expensive to get all the time and then shortly after her eye turned completely grey in just a few days, and we then got her some eye drops and it was all good again, and then she kept getting skinnier and skinnier and the vets were saying all these things that seemed wrong with her but she is 13 (we know because she had a chip!) And we didn’t think she would make it through any surgeries from how frail she was, and then the past few days she got really weak and then 2 days ago all of a sudden she could barley walk, she wasn’t eating and looked like there was nothing to her, I just knew she wasn’t gonna make it so I slept on the kitchen floor with her so she wouldn’t be alone, and then I woke up yesterday and she was in the cat room laying on the floor, she couldn’t even move her head to look at me, it was the saddest thing I have ever seen, and then shortly after I could just see her breathing getting slower and slower and then it stopped and I freaked out and then she took one more deep breath and then stopped breathing completely, I lost my mind screaming bloody murder, it was the most traumatizing thing I have ever witnessed, she was my best friend, she meant the world to me, it just will never be the same without her, I got up this morning to go to the bathroom and she usually comes in with me and paws at my leg trying to get my attention and then will jump onto the counter and get on my back, and now I’m in there alone, I was eating breakfast and she was a giant foodie and she would always try to eat anything you had, she was very persistent, and now she isn’t there pushing my hand out of the way, I was sitting on the couch with my mom and she usually jumps up and lays In a little loaf In between us, and now it is empty💔 I will always love you little girl, you will always hold such a special place in my heart, forever and always💕
