Jolly looks back at Noah just as the younger man puts the tip of his index finger in his mouth. The tip of his tongue just grazed his skin before he cracks a sudden smile around his digit and chuckles to himself. Huh…

“You want your syrup warmed up, tiger?” Your voice purred out warmly over the island. Tiger?

That wasn’t a pet name he’d heard you use for Noah before…at least not that you’ve used around him.

Noah perks up instantly. He looks….proud. “Yes please, kitten” his voice responds back with equal parts grit and honey.

“What the f-“ Jolly mutters to himself before opening the fridge to grab a water. Turning back around, he watches as Noah grabs his jaw to gently manipulate it and massage the hinge point near the back of his teeth.

A loud sigh sounds from the other side of the kitchen and jolly whips his head to look at you, watching your boyfriend readjust his jaw. A pop several decibels louder than the sigh jerks jolly’s hard back to Noah as the singer starts to crack his neck, working out the kinks.

Your elbows drop to the marble countertop, one hand holding up your chin as you continue to ogle your man, the syrup forgotten in the microwave. Another dreamy sigh.

You finally start to out Noah’s plate together and jolly snorts to himself as you place it in front of your hungry boy, gently ruffling his hair and kissing his cheek.

“Breakfast is served, handsome”

The equation fully solved itself as Noah cracked his knuckles and all ten, thumbs included, cracked in unison.

“Jesus, you fucking earned this breakfast, didn’t you…sinners” Jolly says with a chuckle.

Your cheeks turn as red at the strawberries making the smile in Noah’s pancakes.

Noah, however, is sitting there with a wide grin, holding his knife in one hand and fork in the other.
