No positive thoughts will help, just a simple acceptance of both the good, and the bad.
Saying “Fuck it” about exercise, is sometimes all that gets me into the gym that day. It’s no longer about how well I perform, just that I perform. Just that I do the thing, and continue with my routine, and my progress.Â
Sometimes “fuck it” is all that is needed, and it is a grand life skill to create, in the same way that looking at what a “depressed person” would do, may help motivate you to get out of bad habits, fuck it can also help.Â
