From 3pm for a couple of hours you a mix of gospel, along with 60s and 70s soul, and believe me, they are all VERY talented. We had a lot of fun and there was a great atmosphere, I love brunches with entertainment. I’ve had brunch here before, and both times I’ve been pleased. The winner for me this time round was the French toast and the creole crab Benedict. But can you ever really do the full Blues Kitchen experience if you don’t get the deep fried Oreos? You’d be a fool not to. It’s 19.95 for 2 hours of bloody Mary’s and mimosas, or £22.95 for Prosecco. I’m not quite sure if I’ve ever had an Easter burger, but @theblueskitchen have gone all out with theirs. This is The Bunny Boiler, and@da available until 31st March. Rabbit & pork patty, rocket, crispy pancetta, grainy mustard aioli, and melted Swiss cheese, in a hot cross bun. It sounds like there’s a lot going on, but it works. Sure, the hot cross bun is quite sweet, but the mustard balances it out, and you get a peppery taste from the rocket. This burger is punching some pretty heavy tastes, so it’s quite filling for its size.
