Talk hard, steal the air
Just imagine how furious the right would be if Biden's FCC put pressure on Fox to fire one of its hosts for making a joke about Nancy Pelosi's husband getting attacked
The latest episode of "South Park" relentlessly skewered the chairman of the FCC following the controversial suspension of Jimmy Kimmel.
I just noticed that the new South Park is out. I thought they were skipping this week entirely.
Anyway, the head of the FCC lost his freedom of speech after walking into a pile of cat poop that Trump planted in order to get Satan to miscarry the baby that's taking away all of Trump's attention.
That is a sentence that now makes sense with context.
Fake Net Neutrality bills and Strongly Worded Letters
Sooo while weāre still calling for that last vote on the CRA act.Ā Thereās another positive action that we can take.Ā Also, yes I know we may not get that last vote in time this coming Mon, but itāll be a long while before you start to see any changes on the internet, so before then, prepare yourself for another fight.Ā We have time to plan our next move.Ā (Check out my previous posts under the ānet neutralityā tag on this blog to see what else you can do.)Ā
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iāve made a point of some of these in previous posts but I wanted to clarify some things.
Some States have taken this opportunity to pass Net Neutrality bills of their own to defy the FCC, and thatās really good.Ā Real good.Ā But some states, like South Carolina have very faulty ones.Ā By faulty, I mean with enough loopholes to get Telecom corps to bypass.Ā We have to keep those States in mind and spread the word and support them since all or most of their reps are already bought out because again, I stress itās important that we all stick together and help out.Ā
If those states, like South Carolina, passes those fake Net Neutrality bills, whatās stopping other states from trying to do the same thing??Ā Research your reps carefully, and take time to do some research on your States proposed Net Neutrality bill.Ā Ask if you need help.Ā The more we get well-written Net Neutrality laws, the better.Ā And take the time to do some shout-outs to spread the word for States trying to get their own Net Neutrality passed and States trying to fight their fake Net Neutrality laws.Ā Whether itās by whatever we have left online, you writing a report about it, or if youāre just telling a friend.Ā Anything to get the word out.Ā Donāt let yourselves be censored.Ā Everyone is in the same boat, if you were in their situation wouldnāt you want others to help out? Ā Ā
Shout out to Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Indiana, and I think Missouri for being the next States to give their own Net Neutrality laws! *CLAPS* (If Iām missing anyone, do let me know.)
And shout out to South Carolina again, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Governor Henry McMaster, and Attorney General Alan Wilson, were all bought off by telecom corps.Ā They got an awful Net Neutrality bill...Ā
(The first link is South Carolinaās Net Neutrality bill, if your States Net Neutrality bill looks like this, take note of this bill and of Marsha Blackburnās fake Net Neutrality bill.Ā Donāt fall for it.)

(The last link is about Gov. Henry McMasters slandering students for a peaceful protest of the Parkland shooting.Ā While it may not have anything to do with Net Neutrality, it shows you the kind of character this man has.)
(Credit goes to @empressreborn for providing me links and @timeclonemike for his deconstruction of South Carolinaās fake Net Neutrality bill. )
If you have proof that your reps were bought off; provide their names, office numbers, and links to those proofs and spread the word.Ā It can be links about an invasion of your privacy or links that they are against Net Neutrality.Ā We want to make them look bad and pressure them.Ā But please donāt threaten their families and make sure those links are credible.Ā We want to win this war without any potential room for repercussions.Ā
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course, some of you are probably thinking, āThis wouldnāt be an issue if we just get the CRA act passed and win Net Neutrality for all, right?ā well, that seems to be what Evan Greer from FFTF and BFTN seems to be doing.Ā Iām not slandering these groups.Ā By all means, we should still support them for helping us win back Net Neutrality.Ā But they arenāt focused on the threats of fake Net Neutrality bills since their hands are tied at the moment.Ā So what to do?
1) We need to prepare for the worst.Ā We need to step up ourselves and not expect them to do all the work for us.Ā Continue to shout out other States and lend a hand to States facing fake Net Neutrality bills.Ā But still attempt to email FFTF and similar non-profit groups and ask them to help out your State just to have more people know whatās going on.Ā
2) Even if we do win Net Neutrality for all, itās important to remember the people that sold you out, theyāre still out there walking scotch-free.Ā Theyāre still in that position of power that supposedly ārepresentsāĀ you.Ā So remember these bastards and vote them out in November.Ā All of them.Ā Donāt be lazy and forget to do it just because you think your life is over without free internet.Ā If you let them get re-elected, they could very well be bought off again and target this time your-oh say-cell phone service or something.Ā Ā Ā Ā

Ā im sorry if youāre sick of seeing posts about net neutrality (no iām not), but if youāre not already sold on the idea and ready to fight Ajit Pai, iād like you to consider something else: education.Ā
My high school, like many others, is centered around the internet. My textbooks, my assignments, my research, my essays, etc, all require the internet. Functional internet at-home isnāt justĀ āpreferable,āĀ but is absolutely necessary at this point. Public school is supposed to be one of our rights (as americans,) and... i donāt know, Iād like to make a point about low-income families who wouldnāt be able to pay for Academic Internet, and how awful that is and how it would make it even more difficult for a low-income student to get into college than it would be in the first place. In addition, my school issues chromebooks so that we have little-to-no excuse for not getting our online work done. If my school has to pay dramatically more for internet, that is either going to reflect in taxes or it wonāt. If it does, that means that all families in the area will have to both pay more in taxes andĀ in their internet bill, and if it doesnāt, that means that my school is underfunded. for this one silly reason that would have been so easyĀ to avoid.Ā
Also, so many colleges are web-based or even completely online, loosing net neutrality would either mean a.) tuition goes up, b.) tuition stays the same but broke college students have to pay So Much to access the internet they need just to pass their classes, or c.) both.Ā
in addition to all of this, there are small businesses, mental health issues, job interviews, long-distance relationships, there are people teaching themselves hundreds of thousands of topics, thereās the fact that censorship through lack of net neutrality is arguably unconstitutional, there are so many things, and as a young person? iām scared

We have 4 days before the FCC vote on whether or not to strip away our rights by repealing net neutrality!
FOUR DAYS
Email, call, whatever the frick out of the FCC! They need to hear our fricking voices and listen!
They've already committed identity theft by using people's names to make fake comments in favor of the repeal!
THEY COMMITTED IDENTITY THEFT! THAT'S FRICKING ILLEGAL!!!
They can't get away with the frickity fracking bull hockey anymore!
THIS IS NOT OKAY
Spam the ever loving frick out of them, give them a piece of your mind!
They're also apparently not listening to duplicate emails, so be original every time! Yes, that's right.
THEY AREN'T LISTENING TO THE FRICKING PEOPLE THIS WILL AFFECT!
So please, do all you can!
