Grimlock either picks Jawbreaker piggyback style or let him ride on his back when Grim is in his alt mode (also sometimes Swoop just... swoops down, picks JB by shoulders and flies off while Grimlock just stan there like đŠ the frag am I suppose to do now?)
Tarantulas walks on his spider legs while carring Nightshade around, this way he can walk on uneven ground and climb while the kid can rest (Prowl is somehow balancing on his back, servo streached out in a "Onward" position. No one is brave enough to tell him it does not looks as cool as he thinks)
Hashtag is a little sad that she isn't as small as her siblings and she can't be carry around like the rest of them. Her height and weight don't not stop Starscream from still picking her up anyway when she complain about being tired. He even tried flying with her on his back (later, after they find Skyfire frozen in ice, Sky just picks her up like it's nothing, he is strong enough to far throw mechs twice as tall as Hashtag after all. In fact he is so strong, he can just let her hang of his shoulders while he is carring Starscream bridal style)
Swindle just picks Thrash by an ankle and hang him over his shoulders like a sack of dirty laundry, energon cube in the other hand, zero frag given. Thrash actually like this because now all of his energon is flowing down to his head and therefor his thinking should improve (it does not)

I just think that the chaos terrans' revival is a very neglected part of s3 in the Earthspark side of the fandom, and I've been curious about how the dynamics change afterwards.
I NEED TO GIVE THE CHILDREN REDEMPTION ARCS. THE CHAOS TERRANS DESPERATELY NEED REDEMPTION ARCS.
"oh but they were violent/rude/bratty" nobody's born evil, and worse mecha have been given a second chance. I genuinely think that, in the right environment and with the right support, the chaos terrans could flourish, and their revival just HAS to lead to interesting situations with them living with the Maltos and/or the autobots for a more extended period of time. Interesting situations in general with the lack of current DHC and the main group of decepticons.
There's interesting conflict, and interesting team-ups, and the consequences. OHHHOHOH the consequences. Also personal consequences in general for their deaths and subsequent revivals, maybe even a change in Spitfire and Aftermath's dynamic in these new circumstances.
There's some really genuine scenes between Twitch and Spitfire that you can accomplish in a post s3 au, and I'm just plain curious about Aftermath's possible interactions with Grimlock!!
Plus, complicated dynamics with Starscream!! Everyone and their brother nowadays has an Earthspark Starscream redemption arc, but I feel like it's really really necessary here to acknowledge that any Starscream redemption arc is going to be messy and as full of roadblocks & setbacks as it is going to be full of kinder moments and him trying to be better. And I think that ties into Spitfire and Aftermath's own redemption arcs in such nice ways!!
Because, yeah!! There will be hard feelings!! He DID kill them, of his own volition, as part of a greater plan! There's fun conflict and fun arcs there, especially considering where we left off with Starscream in the end of s3 and the circumstances of his isolation/imprisonment in Terratronus's helm.
I have feelings about the chaos terrans and, for as big of a part they were in s2 and s3's ending, they are so underutilized in the fandom. And the dynamics between the kids could be fun; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Autobot Buddy and Soundwave were Conjux Endura shortly before the war broke out, they never made the relationship public. There was too much at risk, especially when tensions on both sides heightened.
Tension between them both rose when discussing which side was better to side with.

Buddy went off and joined the Autobotâs and Soundwave and the miniconâs joined the Decepticonâs. Never once telling anyone of their relationship, they promised each the other their safety and they were going to keep it.

Besides agreeing to protect Dot and her family at all costs. They try to visit the Terrans and Maltos as much as possible. It was such a regular occurrence that they got their own bunk in the Dugout.

Things were going great for Buddy. Enough to occupy their mind from the pain in their spark. One mission got them hurt really bad. They refused to go to GHOST for medical attention.

Now they were at the Dugout fighting to stay conscious. Due to the power of plot convenience, they need a jumpstart their spark, which would be possible if they werenât bonded. Being bonded meant that the other that was bonded would have to jump them with a shock through their spark bond. Which would be great but Buddy wonât tell.
âWheeljack what needs to happen? I feel like Iâm dying here.â--Buddy
âDying!?ââMo/Robie
âWrong choice of words. My bad kids.â--Buddy
âWell since youâre bonded, that means that your Sparkmate need make the jump with you. So now the only thing we need to know is the Sparkmate.â--Wheeljack

Robbie and Mo are at both sides of Buddyâs head rubbing it softly as they wince from time to time from the pain.

Itâs Alex who brings up the possibility of Buddyâs Conjux not being an Autobot at all.
âI mean what if Buddyâs significant other isnât an Autobot at all? What if they are human or a Decepticon? Relationship between factions have definitely happened before right?â--Alex
Thereâs silence and its being considered. Buddy groaning in pain breaks the silence. Megatron heavily considers it, suddenly wondering how many of his own troops entered interfraction relationships.

Suddenly remembers Deadlock and how he would always single out Ratchet in many battles.

Megatron asks Hashtag to send a specific message through a cryptic frequency and starts heading out of the Dugout. Dot, Optimus, and Bumblebee follow him, meanwhile the rest stayed to monitor and look for other cures just in case.
Megatron, Dot, Optimus, and Bumblebee reached a clearing a bit far from the house. Not a moment too soon, Soundwave came into view and transformed in front of them deploying Frenzy, Ravage and Lazerbeak standing their ground. The Autobots reach for their weapons, but Megatron tells them to lower them and takes a step forward towards Soundwave.
âSoundwave.â--Megatron
âMegatron. What is the meaning of this traitor?â--Soundwave
âWe need your help.â--Megatron
âGive me one good reason to help you.â--Soundwave
âFor old time sake, one favor.â--Megatron

Soundwave turns to leave with his minicons, which is when Dot snaps. She wasnât about to lose a dear friend like this, no not like this.

This statement stops the Decepticonâs right in their tracks.
âListen, they donât have much time. They got hurt real bad last mission. They need their Conjux to help them with the medical procedure.â--Dot
 âWe donât know who they are Soundwave. Buddy will not tell us who they are. I will not lose anymore bots when we have a fighting chance. Right now, you are our only way of finding them. Without your help they are going to die.ââ Optimus
âSoundwave we wouldnât be asking you for anything if it werenât dire. We donât have the luxury of time because that is something Buddy doesnât have right now! So, are you going to help or not?ââBumblebee
The miniâs are looking at their boss in some sort of desperation before Soundwave transforms and agrees to help.
Everyone was ready to move to another location but were surprised when Soundwave asked where Buddy was. Thatâs when the other realized the shocking truth. Soundwave was Buddyâs Conjux.
They arrive at the Dugout and enter its doors. The Terrans are immediately on guard seeing Soundwave, especially when Buddy yelps in pain squeezing their optics close not knowing who was in the room.
âFreeze!â--Twitch
âCalm down he is here to help Buddy.â--Megatron
âWhat so is heââ-- Thrash
âYes.ââMegatron
Soundwave had never felt so much regret of not contacting his Conjux for so long than that moment. He calls to them, this causes Buddyâs optics to snap open in disbelief.

The miniâs came out and started shooing everyone out of the room. Wheeljack gives Soundwave quick instructions on how to do the jump starting before also exiting the room.
Now itâs just Buddy and Soundwave
Soundwave is getting the equipment ready when Buddy calls him over and apologizes for bringing him here where he and the miniâs could get captured. Soundwave finishes setting up the equipment and grabs Buddyâs servo as the process began.

âYou can go first.â--Soundwave
âIâm sorry for getting you into this mess, you and the miniâs.â--Buddy

They both begin talking and catching up on some things. Before they knew it, the procedure had finished, and Buddy was going to make a full recovery.
After the procedure was done, they both walked out servo in servo. The miniâs as it turned out had told the Team a bit about their relationship.
âYeah, so one time Soundwave thought it was a good idea to fly with Buddy around sunset. But he didnât know thatââ--Lazerbeak
âLazerbeak.â--Soundwave
âSoundwave! Buddy!ââFrenzy
Everyone there was shocked by the story, but they eventually got over the shock. The longest one to come out of the shock is Megatron. He feels guilty and so blind. How could he not have seen this coming, especially from Soundwave?
Soundwave lets Buddy have one more squeeze before getting the miniâs in his chest compartment. He turns to leave, but he stopped after hearing Dotâs voice.
âYou can stay the night here? I think it would be good for Buddy if they knew you were here.â--Dot
âAnd if you are worried about GHOST, their radar doesnât come by here. Itâs perfectly safe.ââMegatron
He pauses for a minute. Looks back at Buddy and then the setting sun. one night wouldnât hurt, right? He turns to Megatron stating that if this was a trap, that there would not be a planet he could go to hide from him. With that he swooped in and carried Buddy bridal style and marches into the Dugout as he deployed his mini cons to have fun on the farm.
Meanwhile Soundwave and Buddy cuddled on one of the medical slabs all night long.
